Nic, your channel has been among the most influential fire alarm channels ever. Your content is so different compared to other channels and honestly, a model for many people to follow; it goes more in the informative and practical direction rather than the obsessive content many people produce while still being really entertaining. I have learned a lot from your field videos and it's sad to see them go, but I know you have a promising future wherever you decide to go in the future. You've made your mark as one of the best of all time, and you deserve everything you have. Great video as always, and good luck in the future from Tim in the United States. Take care.
Thank you so much. That really means a lot to hear. Especially from you as someone I have been watching and commenting on each other's videos for years. I'd say pretty much as long as I can remember doing this. I really appreciate your comment and the support. I am very happy you and others have enjoyed my videos over the years. And now for you, I certainly enjoy your content you've been creating so keep it up!
Enjoyed this series a lot, good stuff, thanks for posting! When you leave the school district, keep in mind that you'll be leaving things better than you found them and you'll have made a good mark. It's crazy to me how rapidly you guys have switched over to Notifier. The whole 'like for like' thing never made sense to me and I'm glad this project in particular took steps to rethink how the system is set up. You're makin me strongly consider a career switch 😂 Office tip: if you wanna find something fast in a document like a spreadsheet, do Ctrl+F then type what you wanna find. It'll speed things along nicely and you won't need to scan with your eyes :) Also works in most other places including web browsing.
It's definitely sad to see the field installation series end. Your video production quality has only been going up and I really liked the last few videos here! It's also really cool to see large scale fire alarm systems like this be installed (speaking of which-why a 3030? I assume you need that many SLC loops, but why were there so many? You might have explained it already but if so then I forgot) But with the end of an era starts a new one, and perhaps a better one! Hopefully you're able to do even cooler stuff moving forward! *If* you ever end up working with another FA company that installs Notifier equipment (and are able to film with them), it would be awesome to see field work with stuff like the new INSPIRE-series panels since there's so few videos on them right now.
They didn't need a 3030 that's just what the engineer specked for the job a 320 would do the building right now but realistically for the expansion it needs a 640 at minimum
What are finale. Probably one of your best replacement series so far.. Kind of a shame you're leaving the school district soon, do you plan on making field videos once you are able to join an actual electrical company? Or are you going to stick to the Hobby side stuff? Production quality as always is getting better and better. Great video! Only skimmed it so far simply being a verification but I can't wait to see if you guys have any more replacements you have yet to perform slash upload at this district.
I was playing outside on the turf at my school playing football 🏈 with my friends on Thursday on spring break. so i showed you the outside of my school while i was there. 😎😎😎😎
Hey Nic! Nice Install! I accually got a song about you replacing the qs4 with the nfs2-3030. Now realtalk: Do you want the audiofile with the songtext?
I got a question….. I ordered a fire alarm pull station (one in ur house) and a fire alarm bell…. If there was an emergency and the fire dept or police came into my apartment, would I be charged? is that legal? It does not work tho…. It’s just for visual and editing….
Yeah dude I agree with Keith I've been watching your vids for awhile dude. Your pretty awesome at installing. I like your videos. Keep up the good work bud.
@@nics-systems-electric I posted a video of the outside of my school on Thursday because I'm on spring break. So I showed you around my school. While was at the turf with my friends playing football 🏈 with them.
What happened to the old panel? Still may want to buy one. My EST fireshield panel is now completely dead. It started making a weird smell and I now can’t power it up.
@@nics-systems-electric i’ll lowkey wanna buy it. How does 150 usd sound. I have cashapp and that I believe already converts currency. I can reprogram the panel and i know how to make mapping work thanks to my knowledge on the SIGA-HDT tool which can revert any device back to factory settings.
Yes, it's something that needs to be done in the verification we go back for a separate day to get some decibel readings however, the alarms were mostly all seen and heard during the process of getting them synchronized however I personally don't think everyone was tested as some were likely missed so it should still be done however I don't know if that will happen or not
Does your school district have its own electrical department? Rather unusual where I live. Also what would happen if you weren't able to finish on time? Just curious
Yes most school districts have their own in-house departments. If it's not done in time it either can be left until the next workday and finished then or if it's critical then overtime
I have no idea what device it was it just happens sometimes if the smoke briefly gets around the pre-level even though it's not set up it will sometimes happen
When you say you are leaving the school district, what do you mean? Are you not going to be doing any more work on systems at schools? Or are you going to be working in a different district? If you are no longer working on school systems, what will you work on?
Yes I made a video about which devices are affected and explained the recall ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DHNUtCDZCJQ.htmlsi=6icR9R3BZES1_xAW
@@nics-systems-electric thanks saw a new post about it on the Fire Alarm subreddit and my first instinct was to let you know just in case. Then I realized it's probally the same one you did a video about already. Thanks for the reply and finish off the year strong 👍🏻
