Both these seems to be burning entirely too hot by how large the flame is, how deep the melt pool is and the sooting. If your diameter is under 3" i don't think you need to double wick this vessel. I try to aim for a full melt pool at just about 4hrs so the wax doesn't burn off too quickly. I use the Amazon mold with concrete and use an earth safe sealer.
I see what you’re saying, wooden wick would not stay lit with just one, i had to double wick cause the first time the single wick left all the wax on the edges so it didn’t have a full melt pool. I showed that in the previous video. With soot how do i prevent that? It still burned slow i did do this video over a span of days.
@@joscreatesco.4946 maybe instead of double wicking go up a size if it's not reaching full melt. I use the wooden wick crackling booster which for soy wax in size.5 and it burns nicely no sooting as of yet but I'm still testing as I go
I agree with top comment from … (Maryam) I learned that a candle should burn approx one hour for every inch in diameter of the vessel to achieve full melt pool…👍🏼 I use a wick guide from candle science to guide me in choosing wicks for certain waxes and vessel diameters
