Love you bro❤ want to ask you something. Im left handed and my stronger leg is right my 2 foot jump is left right and my one foot is right. can’t jump with left foot should i change my jumping leg or is okay to practice like that ? Please help me
Congrats on the baby! On another note, what are some good alternatives to power cleans for anyone with lower back pain? I know of resisted jumps but they lack the pulling up high part of the lift that power cleans have? Does that matter? I’m thinking Trap Bar High Pulls, Med Ball Throws, Kettlebell swings. Or just forget the high pull and just do loaded jumps?
@@IsaiahRivera1 Hey Isaiah, do you know what I should do for a beginner? I’m 14 5’7. Also do you have any tips for a smoother handle? I’ve never gotten past anyone.
deadlift more. If your back hurts then it is weak, especially the lower back. Start with 135 for 10-15 reps and slowly progress your way up. 405 would be a good target weight for injury prevention, should take around 2-3 months.
Speaking of you not training one foot vert, what do you think about Ben Patrick advocating for training on all plants? (2 foot RL, LR, and 1 foot R, L)
I’m a one foot jumper lol that’s crazy how we all different… I jump high of two too to hang on things and stuff but I dunk way more easily off 1 than off 2
Hey Isaiah, I just got my first dunk a few weeks ago and I was wondering, how do you deal with calluses? Every time I dunk, I have immense pain in my fingers.
sir isaih rivera can i ask if it's okay to do a lot of plyometrics and how many hours should i rest to make myself more bouncier, n congratss to your babyy
Hi Isaiah as a jumper you must read a book call QURAN it has lot of information about how you take care of your family and how you should treat your mother and father anyway congratulations on you becoming a father.
Do you have any tips for beginners? Like what’s the video that will help me start out. I’m 5’7 in a half 28 inch vert running. Moderate knee pain and a little bit of shin splints.
watch the video series: how i went from a 24-36 inch vert, then 36-45, then 45-50 if you want. biggest thing is just continously getting stronger and doing as many approach jumps you can in a week WHILE STAYING HEALTHY. 3 lifts a week and 2 ~30m dunk sessions should do the trick
Hello, what to do in the winter season if there is no access to the basketball hall and dunks, just jump at home? Or try adding more plyometrics to the gym
