I was excited to see someone comment on Robbie C's channel about the Halo Pigs that dropped over at the Innova store. So without doing any research about the plastic... I immediately bought 3! Robbie C is known for his pig love (and tattoo) but I have always preferred pigs over zones, etc... but just like my beloved Innova Birdies, the base plastic just beats in too quickly. Great for those beat piggies that have a special flight, but when you need a reliable overstable approach disc, you don't want to be worried about how it will fly after that last tree hit. So, I didn't realize it was a base blend plastic with really not a big difference from the old Pigs. But, I had let Robbie know that I had ordered mine and he suggested a Chopping Block challenge. So with my three little pigs in hand, I went out to Inverness on my lunch break to test them out and dial in my flick putt. The results of my practice in the challenge will be posting soon. Robbie's channel will have the front nine and I will have the back nine as we play University of Montevallo's course. (By the way, I left work a touch early on this day and played a quick round just to get a feel for the course since I rarely play it. Hurt my shoulder throwing a lot of forehand needed out there... not smart) But, tune it for the spills, chills and thrills that are "The Chopping Block!!!!!!!" :D
