I wasn't suggesting that they would be, only that they should be. They were clearly designed without the flags then buzz killington came along afterwards an ruined them. I swear rockstar is actively trying to kill off gta. I'd happily play it for another 5yrs but the last 2 updates and the cars within them have been absolute arse. I haven't brought any of them really because why would you when there 5seconds slower and 5times the cost of the og cars
Some cars would really broke their classes like the Dominator GTX and the jester (it can be used in sports classics races), and also the tyrant would be the best supercar ? Noooooooo that thing is literally the biggest car in the game cant be the number one
It's not like curb boosting haven't ruined racing in GTA anyway, right? Like I can't enjoy a race without seeing a jackass weaving over curbs all around the track and getting an unfair advantage. Don't get me wrong, the current implementation of advanced flags are shit, but those need to be improved and then applied to all cars in the game, in the meantime, R* should remove them. And while we're at it, remove bike gliding, gaining speed by wheeling, mid drive boost, add a downforce multiplier value to all cars, a worse offroad loss value on supers and sports cars so they're worse at offroading than actual offroad vehicles, remove traction bonus on spoilers (not all cars can have a custom spoiler) and add proper crash deformation to all vehicles too.
@@YellowDogWithCone I know this is 2 months later but how about instead of playing GTA 5, you play an actual racing game then. Curb boosting is part of the game at this point, so is bike gliding, wheeling to go faster and mid drive speed boost. While I think your suggestions are good, this is an old gta 5 game for last gen consoles and we just have to wait to see how cars work in gta 6. I do hope for the elimination of curb boosting, but it's not my choice. What is my choice is to choose if I'll play GTA 5, GT sport or forza Horizon. I suggest you do the same.
Wow, Tyrant & Swinger would be new class leader... Such a shame R* don't care about those flags and will probably stick with those for the future... RIP Racing GTA 5 -.-
R/Y Tyrant, definitely but the Swinger I don’t think it would’ve been the top sports classic car considering that it was only 9 hundredths of a second faster than the Turismo Classic
Depends on weather or not you think variety is good. for example on stunt races you really only need two vehicles the Vagner for tracts that are less top speed focused and the Proto for tracts that are more top speed focused. Without the handling flags this would have opened the options since there are about 3 vehicles here that can compete with the Vagner. heck you could probably get by with just the Entity XXR alone because not only is it on pace with the vagner but it is also has a higherr top speed than the Proto
DOOM PhD True, thought you were more so advocating for something to dethrown the Vagner, not match it. Would be good to have some choice on the top end of things similar to the muscles class where it's the Yosemite, P. Dominator or the Sabre Turbo Custom.

Well....at least the introductions of the Thrax, S80RR, Krieger and Emerus show that not all future cars will be broken like this. It's a shame the Tyrant and the XXR looked like such good cars to own, but at least its dark memory of the past rather than the first of all future DLC cars.
Man it sucks that these flags are still in the game for these cars and is really the main reason why I’ve never bought most of them except for the Jester Classic and Entity XXR. I honestly think the Taipan is one of the coolest looking super cars in the game and I wish it didn’t have these flags because then I could actually drive it in races and actually compete with other cars but as it sits now it can barely keep up with most sports cars and that kills me on the inside smfh
we could honestly see them making these cars good since they've recently just modified all the tuner cars and put the horrible handling flags and if they listen we could probably get them to remove and add the advanced handling flags that actually make these cars able to be driven with gratification

k& there is in fact a massive difference in top speed when you use low profile tires because it has bad suspension, but i didn't use them here because i stayed true to the testing method.
Protocol 7even No. At least not the General topspeed. Obviously with curbs it gets a bit higher. but on flat road it would be exactly the same. acceleration gets increased massively.
