Drifts are fun inside the car, but look much better in camera from the outside. Not giving us a single outer drift shot was a huge missed opportunity 😢

Some people really want to hate on the S650 but the Camaro and Challenger are dead and Ford decided to not only update the Mustang but also decided to add a drift brake option sooo I think they’re just big mad lol it’s sick

Or they're telling it like it is and being realistic. Drift stick and tablets glued to the dash and the fox body looking gauges all that stuff is just gimmicks that don't matter. At the end of the day it isn't any faster, it's more expensive, heavier, and has a locked ecu so modding can't even save it. It looks like a refreshed s550 not an all new car they keep giving us less and charging us more. It's tech heavy and they're trying to push it with gimmicks which is why they have stuff like the drift brake. If the car was great it wouldn't need gimmicks to sell it.

Yea, no. Drift brake is the only thing that interests me. But there is nothing else with the S650 that makes me want to give up my 2019 GT. The tablets are the result of lazy design. The Foxbody guages mean nothing to me and probably also nothing to anyone younger than me. The S550 did the digital gauge cluster right. Performance wise, the S650 may have some gains, but only a select few will get to offer tunes and its heavier. In short, this car is just 1 motor away from being an EV, complete with silly gimmicks to entice buyers.

Darkhorse is a certified DUD. Slower than previous gen Heavier And it's just a face-lift gen3

Maybe brake modulation? With the focus rs’ drift mode i think they had software that managed the brakes in a way to allow the car to swing easier. since its literally the same manufacturer, i wouldnt be surprised if they implemented the same type of software or something of a simalar type.

I just bought the Dark Horse 33 miles on it off show room floor...have 1112.00 on it now and 2 speeding tickets in less than 3 weeks.....(very proud of those by the way:))....Can you PLEASE teach me how to REALLY "drive" it??????! No one around here wants to teach a girl apparently,,,, I would pay you some serious cash to learn....I did just sign up for Road Americas Novice race Day here in WI for May 1st...Will be my first time on a track and am super excited !!!! Wish me luck!!!! Your videos rock!

Sort of disappointing how modern cars take a lot of the raw skill out of performance driving. It's far more visceral and exciting to run along the ragged edge and dance on that precipice of control or spinning out. That said, I really like the s550 and s650's use of the coyote and pushing upper limits of "safe" levels of factory horsepower on vehicles designed for daily driving. Makes me want to pick up another 67-70 and toss a 'yote under the hood.

Does it self steer at all? I'm looking at getting one but I'm absolutely terrified of counter steering and it snapping the opposite direction and sending me into a curb, ditch, wall, etc, or just doing a rolling burnout and getting thrown into a ditch, I used to slide around my jaguar XJR sedan and do rolling burnouts up to 70mph without much of a issue, and the only place i have to practice is a track with a donut pad, would practicing donuts, and figure 8s be enough to keep me away from the crowds?

Even gt350 vs dark horse is one sided imo unless you think you have to have new and are sold on all the bs gimmicks lol. Gt350 is a far better car in every way and its alot more special. Gt500 isn't in the same league its way beyond.
