I would say no, the real difference is that with more ram you can just do more. I selected the 64gb because in my mind I knew I would be running some programs via rosseta, and wanted the extra buffer. I think for the price difference it's worth it.
@@EnovairStudios I see.. My problem is that the 32gigs model is easier to purchase cause it’s available in a shop near by, but for the 64gigs model I must wait for 6-8 weeks :/
Do keep in mind that in the M1 architecture, the RAM is shared between CPU and GPU (that's why Apple calls it "unified memory"). So if you are going to have many programs running PLUS doing VRAM-intensive tasks, then it's definitely better to get the 64gb version.
