Hey @Fortress Locksmiths, was wondering, how would you manage to pick up the cam if the customer told you there was a key on the other side, and the key has been turned to an unknown angle? Also, can all basic and 1 star cylinder allow a cut key or picking blade to catch the cam? For sure some diamond secure ratings won't allow you to catch the cam easily, but anything below that should be fine, right? Thank you :)
Hi mate, I’ve done a few videos on turning a lock with a key on the other side, when it’s not visible it’s a bit of trial and error and generally you’ll have to turn the plug about 2-3 times to get the door to unlock. As long as it doesn’t have trap pins, you can turn the plug nearly a full rotation then try the handle, if it’s not unlocked just turn the plug nearly all the way in the opposite direction and then repeat the process, this way as long as you don’t reset you only need to pick the lock once. Like you said most 3 star locks you can’t do this on but nearly every standard or one star cylinders you can 🔑🔑
Hi, just a quick question, what blades are you using on what brand locks,I’ve had the wendt 2 for years but only use the straight blade, still got all the spare that come with the kit.is there a reason you don’t use a wendt,Rolls Royce of RPG’s,great videos keep it up
I’ve never tried the Wendt to be honest but like most have been through a few different EPGs, I’ve found it’s better to have a few options as some locks respond better to different ones. Also I like to have a mixture of blades including some 2 peak ones
He does it again .😂😂😂 what a fucking soilder..I had a call out the other other night seth .met with a atk lock couldn't Get through it so I rang the police and told them there was a burglar insiside. They were great got me in about 3 mins😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I know it’s not really to do with the video but was just looking for an answer. Say if the mechanism in the door has completely broke and there is no second spindle. What do you do? Only reason I ask is because my work is giving out call outs for us and I’ve only been doing picking on my own back not had any training or anything. I just want to know what you’d do worse case scenario is there anyway you could get it open or is it new door job?
Second spindle is the dream but most don’t have them so you have to know all the different tricks to get them open, but no it is never a new door job just a new mechanism...any decent locksmith will get them open with none or virtually no damage to the door
First thing you need is to identify the mechanism, they all have different common faults which can be overcome by different methods. First thing you need to establish bis if there is another door to gain access through, this way you can remove handles and even deglaze if spreading the door is required.
yea I was like fukin size on tha before you took out the case,,, you tried the dino ring tension tool good for epg's looks a good tool that mind be interesting when you do comparison
@@FortressLocksmiths cool looking forward to it 👍 like the Kronos makes easy work of most locks. Just got the Dino spare blades kit to have a whirl with the rakes n dimple ones see if any good
why get another gun there is only one you need the KRONOS no imposters / wannabe needed that one looks like you will end up with arms like Arnold Schwarzenegger to use it and the wife says can she have it back now 😁 great video mate ps and camera work to 👍🔑
🤣🤣🤣👌🏻 because variety is the spice of life ! And it had the potential to be better than the Kronos but time will tell, I’ve got 20 different security cylinders to compare the two with , and some of them the Kronos wouldn’t pick so it will be a fair and interesting comparison 😁🔑🔑🔑
