**This video is not medical advice and I am not a doctor.
Changes within the natural range, including drops that lead to low levels, as well as increases that cause naturally elevated Testosterone, can have several major effects both mental and physical
Valuable research on the effects of health, lifestyle, and social mechanisms, as well as dietary studies and a look through clinical trials on the best testosterone booster supplements will all contribute to our testosterone maxing plan. Also this video is going to focus specifically on how these hormones operate in men, I’ll make a video on female hormones in the future though.
Before we see how to raise levels and the effects this has, first we need to answer the question of what does testosterone do?
Heightened Testosterone levels during development are responsible for the differentiation of the male body.
And throughout life, elevated testosterone levels in males continue to be responsible for maintaining much of their physical and behavioural differences.
Research into social endocrinology explains why one man can have levels 4 times higher than another, and while medically their levels would both be considered natural, the differences in how they think, feel and even look, might be as different as night and day.
Research shows in mammals, Testosterone’s broad range of effects exist to regulate competitive and status seeking effort By promoting behaviours and psychological states that increase the likelihood of achieving and maintaining social ranking,
It does this because with this higher rank comes access to limited resources as well as increased mating opportunities.
Rising testosterone levels in humans have been shown to promote both persistence and competitive motivation, while also reducing stress and fear.
Now it makes more sense why signs of low testosterone often include feeling the total reverse of this.
Knowing that, individuals with low Testosterone levels would be highly motivated to raise their levels. This is why we are going to also cover low testosterone causes and also treatment.
Testosterone is also understood to contribute to the likelihood of future success, and sure enough in human studies we see, increased energy levels, as well as enhanced memory, learning, and cognitive ability.
When we hear studies refer to ‘testosterone levels’ they are referring to how much is circulating in the blood.
Sometimes called the total value, this measure provides a solid idea of how much testosterone your body has to work with, with levels below 350 marking the start of what’s considered low.
When you take a testosterone test, this is the value you will be given usually.
There are a few more measures you may hear about, because Testosterone can actually circulate the blood in three different ways.
60% is SHBG bound
38% is bound to albumin.
2% is Free Testosterone
Instead of constantly going to the clinic to get these regular tests, I use a service that will mail me the test, which I then send back for my results
The majority of Testosterone in the bloodstream is produced by specialized cells called Leydig cells. It forms when Cholesterol within the cells is pulled into their mitochondria, once inside an enzyme turns it into pregnenolone, which exists to another part of the cell, where it’s converted to Testosterone.
How quickly cholesterol gets converted is controlled by luteinizing hormone
So now you may be wondering how to boost Testosterone, or specifically how to increase Testosterone naturally?
This can be split into 4 categories:
First we will be looking at the best testosterone boosters and supplements. Do testosterone boosters work?
Well, according to the research, yes. There’s considerable evidence to suggest deficiencies in Vitamin D, Zinc, and Magnesium can all lower Testosterone.
So to protect your testosterone levels always ensure you’re getting an adequate intake of these vitamins and minerals.

Men's testosterone levels have been on the decline the past few decades. Plastics and other crap in the environment are to blame. Plus poor diet and lack of physical activity. I think we should be having a serious discussion about men's testosterone levels plummeting. I know people like to joke about this sort of thing, but when millions of men suffer from anxiety, depression, fatigue, low libido, and other poor quality of life issues due to low testosterone, we are in the midst of different kind of pandemic that affects everyone adversely. Low birth rates, unhappy relationships, crimes, suicides, etc all affect society adversely.

First, your production quality is excellent. Subscribed for the work you’ve put in. Second, my test results as an early thirties father of four sons who possesses a graduate degree and is in a successful job I love, and a relatively above average level of muscle mass, absolutely astounded me. My wife joked when I went to get tested and said “why bother? You’re about the highest testosterone man I’ve ever met”. Turns out my levels were 278 ng/dl… we were both shocked. Now what I DIDN’T have the test granularity to see was the delta between free and total testosterone and the lab company I use only checks for total levels. I’ve been doing the things recommended to increase my natural levels and will be retesting 3 months from my initial test to determine if I’ve effected any change. I had my first ever full lab work up done at the same time as well. All markers showed in the near perfect numbers with the exception of Vitamin D. My vitamin D levels were CRITICALLY low. This next work up has me curious to see if my levels have gone up (I’ve been supplementing Vitamin D) and if there is a correlation with my test levels. Again, thank you so much for the work you’ve put into making this!!! 🤘

I am on the verge about getting a full panel done. My basic blood work was normal but only included a basically metabolic panel, liver function and CBC. Asked my PCP about checking testosterone level but he pretty much dismissed it. Basically asked me if I can get a hard on and because I said yes, he just said your level is normal and doesn’t need to be checked. I follow a healthy diet, work out 5 times per week and also have a above average amount of muscle mass. Been supplementing Vitamin D and other minerals. Anyways, please us posted. Regards.

@2livenoob
@2livenoob 3 года назад
No it doesn't. Those studies were done in the 50's and are completely misappropriated. Black people couldn't even get into most colleges, let alone have access to higher jobs and resources. So does that mean all black people had low T?
@jeremiahmcpadden4386
@jeremiahmcpadden4386 3 года назад
I mean i was largely referring to the approach as a whole, including mechanisms, evolutionary biology, and those studies (of which he referenced a lot so you're going to have to be more clear-unless you think that studying hockey players watching tv was in the 50s as well). But anyways, do you really think the studies didn't, or can't account for generalized social settings such clubs, bands, churches, or even just a single class setting? The way humans organize in society isn't always clear and simple, and I got the impression he wasn't just talking about prestige in the sense of the 80s corporate ideal. To be clear, what I think you're saying about the studies is likely true. I would not at all be surprised that a study in the 50s would be racist, especially not if it were incidental. However I guess the takeaway would be that the study is only misleading if it leads you to assume that only non-CEOs have low t.

My dad is 57 and after his last exam his doctor asked him if he was taking anabolic steroids because his testosterone levels were way above average. This makes total sense to me, his physique would be absolutely incredible even for a person 10 years younger. He works out 2-3 times a week with heavy weights and eats whatever and how much he wants. He has always been the „alpha male“ in the room, extremely competitive in everything he does and pretty much has been a winner through and through ever since I was a kid. I‘m glad I got a small portion of his genes..

The weird part is, I literally gain all the mental benefits from high testosterone by just retaining from wanking. The longer I go, the stronger the benefits become. Especially the less mood swings and aggression part, it’s more like pin-pointed aggression. Not constant and random. They say ejac isn’t related to testosterone but I really think otherwise. And before anyone yells “placebo”, it’s not. Because I gave up wanking cuz I was getting tired of it and wanted the real deal, gave myself a challenge to stop wanking till finding a partner, completely unaware of it’s benefits. And since going to the gym consistently for 10 months now, the benefits are amazing. I no longer give a single fuck around anyone. I just be me, it feels great. I don’t know whether it’s the zinc (minerals) in our semen or our dopamine levels resetting or whatever that’s causing to mimic high T, but there’s definitely something to semen retention that goes hand in hand with all the things you mentioned in this video. Great video btw.

Immediately experiencing slight mood swings, low motivation and low energy again. But made a dead line for myself, this september 1st i'm going 30 days nofap and no pc. I'm not looking at the internet for confirmations of why or how nofap works, i just know it works I can feel it and there's no placebo about it as some naysayers love to claim. She said that it was borderline normal and if we took it again in a few weeks it would probably be normal range (aka >300). I don't think 295 should be considered normal for a 35 year old. I wish they didn't print that stupid range so the doctor would actually have to listen to you and make an informed decision. @tescoownbrandlit
@tescoownbrandlit 3 года назад
For supplement research, r values are a lot lower - it's a supplement, not a medicine. Still, 0.1 is a modest medium if you wanna be really lenient with it. I was wondering how many studies he didn't mention that showed neutral or opposing results, and I checked the link for the supplement (a referral link, btw - I wasn't paying full attention so I might have missed the part where he said this was a sponsored video) and the first page contains 25 statements that have an asterisk to say that haven't been evaluated by the FDA. Pretty suspicious but a youtube video from one user with a confirmation bias will never be a replacement for doing real research.

I actually was quoting from the researchers. "In a cohort of older men, magnesium levels are strongly and independently associated with the anabolic hormones testosterone and IGF‐1." A major point of this video is how T levels are multifactorial, a perfect correlation would mean magnesium alone completely controls T levels. Of course thats not true as we saw how everything from body-fat to social status has an impact. I only picked the three most notable mineral deficiencies. So in light of just how many factors can effect T, Magnesium even just accounting for 10% of the changes in T levels is information worth sharing. That said I regret using the authors verbiage, I should have just called it a correlation so that's my bad haha
