Tetris 99 is one of the first exclusives for Nintendo Online, however, with battle royale aspects, many people have called Tetris 99 unfair, called Tetris 99 bad and unfair, and have made videos why Tetris 99 is the HARDEST game ever, when that's not really true. After playing this game, I've come to notice why Tetris 99's Balance is PERFECT! This is a really good video. A couple other things that make it fair and balanced that you missed - the 12 line maximum on garbage that hits you mean you can't get obliterated with 40 lines of garbage you have no way to defend against, and the pace of play with the speed increases mean it's all but impossible to keep slamming down T-Spin Triples in the late game - the one time you wouldn't be able to appropriately defend against it. They really have this fine-tuned so that highly skilled but not Wumbo players have a snowball's chance in hell against him.

Thanks for the kind words! Also I completely overlooked the 12 line limit as a part of balance, but that is a pretty big factor as well

Tetris 99 is SUPER unfair! There’s no dances, skins, or accessories! It left out the most vital part of Battle Royales. When I beat someone, I wanna DANCE. Stupid game. Ima take my slurps and tactical shotguns, and save John Wick in Tilted Towers. Tallest Flash? More like, Tallest SHMUCK.

It's not up to skill when you have 10 people targeting you within the first few moments, no possibility to fight back trash if at least 2 of those attackers can build decent garbage. That's my only complaint is they stack attackers randomly at the beginning
