Good question with very good explanation. We can apply node analysis at V- and Vo is coming 5Volts. If i am wrong, please Correct me.

Comporator with no feedback circuit and then V+=0,v-=-1 v+>v- So vo=+Saturation.... ANswer

Please confirm again. How to calculate feedback gain of a opamp step wise. Let me say few steps 1. De-energies the independence source . i) voltage source -Short circuit ii) Current source -Open circuit. Here in state of current source if the source was a voltage source of 1v. Then the opamp have a negative feedback and output of opamp will be 1v. please correct me if I make any mistake.

Will be depending on the polarity of that 1 V voltage source.

shouldnt we take -Vdd as -5 volts?

you can

Reverse the direction of the current source And then v-=1v So v->v+ and then vo=-saturation voltage=-5v

Why did not you use virtual ground concept here... V+ = V-

Clearly mentioned,as there is not negative feedback.

And the concepts is "virtual short" not virtual ground

This is purely a hypothetical question with NO practical significance... If the Vo = +5V as described in the video , first of all how is the 1mA current source going to flow in the direction shown ? When the 1mA current "can not flow" , V(-) becomes 0V and Vo becomes 0 as it is ideal opamp... Even in this case the current source can not flow ( if the current source has to flow a current in the direction, its left side has to be + and right side - and is NOT possible here ) in the direction shown and hence v(-) remains at 0v and Vo remains at 0v

it's an ideal current source, the IV characteristics of this device is a straight horizontal line if we ignore shunt source resistance of the source. This basically means it can provide a constant current output no matter the voltage across it. Current output from a source has no dependency on terminal voltage drops.
