Learning how to lesson plan using TEKS is so important. Standard 1 is the most important because it has the foundation for everything else on the PPr exam.

I really enjoy the study sessions because I learn something new each time that’s helpful to me as a new teacher. I also believe that it’s important to know your students when planning lessons. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge.

Analyzation of domain I and III was full of great information. In order for all of it to come together you have to make sure you have completed certain steps. For instance, as a teacher we have to know our students first before we can even design instruction. Then once we get to assessing the students we have to understand that we assess to plan. And when we collect data it is not just assessments it about a variety of methods like asking questions or just simply walking by and listening. Then Domain III is about the implantation of the lesson. And one of the most important parts from Domain III that I got is doing think-pair-share. And understanding that everything we do in the classroom has to be carefully crafted in order for students to get the most out of learning.

Having a lesson plan and being updated on new teaching approaches helps you and the student's learning objective.

It is very informative that assessments do not always mean exams. Seeing assessments as data collection allows students multiple ways to express their understanding.

Great information to better understand each competencies. While watching all these videos, I am finding out all the ways to better wrap around this information. Students as well are a huge help.

Great video! Nice that you emphasized grouping students strategically to use them as a resource to the other students. Students also learn with each other so it its important to group accordingly.

It makes sense that standard 1 is so heavily incorporated in the test. It’s all about the students, the resources we use, the curriculum, and the ongoing use of assessment.

To ensure all students learn and succeed.Teachers need to set goals. Challenging and achievable that all students must reach.

The standards/domains give us an outline of what is necessary to be good educators. Give the students a quality education to assistant in their future success.

Domain I: Learning across contexts and disciplines! We assess students to help gauge their learning not just to give them grades! Provide instructional guidance to feedback. Assessment = data collection. Domain III: Implementation of the lesson making sure that students have appropriate pacing to have students engaged and not left behind. Making sure that students are responding to instruction by evaluating their learning process.

Great way to show us how important it is to allow students to express their understanding of the material in various ways.

Standard 1 is Domain I and part of the III, consider the speical pops and assess mindfully that's my takeaway.

Domain l & lll are the most important in the test, Students understand lessons in certain ways so I personally think its okay to have different assessments as long as they're following the curriculum.

It's important to know that not only is Domain 1 accounting for 34% of the test, but it also is a 1/3 of the domain information for Domain 3 and that is also 33% of the test. So Domain 1 is a major part of the test and is very important to know!
