Love this pattern and it works up pretty fast. Made one in less than an hour and I’m on my 3rd one for today. I crochet when I have a work break and my commute to and from work 😬. Thanks for letting the pattern and clear and precise instructional video.

I’m waiting on a skein of yarn to match the scarf I’m almost finished with. My BFF isn’t a hat person, but said she’d wear a headband. This looks nice and easy because you did a great job of showing each stitch! I’ll post again when I’m finished with the project.

I love this piece so much!! I'm wondering if you have a pattern for it to continue on to become a hat at all?
@crochettoz
@crochettoz 6 лет назад
I have a pattern in my Etsy shop for a baby hat with this stitch here: www.etsy.com/listing/254406727 , but basically you just start at the top of the hat with Double Crochets and increase the circles with plain Double Crochets until you get to hat circumference you want, then begin the alternating DC/ FPDC pattern for the length of the hat. Then I finish with a round of HDC. :)

@crochettoz

That is a great question, lol! Good catch! You are right. I don't remember- this video is from a while ago. Maybe a missed or extra stitch somewhere in the first three rounds or my count was off from the beginning.

Hi. This is a fantastic tutorial. You were slow enough for me to keep up my speed with you. You showed what you were doing and you didn’t rush through. For me, your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am a new crocheter and I really enjoyed your teaching method. By far, the best video I have found so far. I clicked on a few of the links you posted for this pattern as well as the matching pattern for the fingerless gloves, however, when I was redirected, there was a message saying the link could not be found. Would you please repost these links! Also... Do you allow people to sell items they have made from your patterns? Thank you so much. Have a blessed day.

So I'm trying it and it keeps increasing like I'm on the end of row four and I now have more than 75 stitches
@belantww
@belantww 3 года назад
Count your stitches at the end of every row. What might be happening is that you’re working both a DC and a FPDC into the same stitch.

Starting from Rnd 1:- 75 FHDC Ending at Rnd :- 11 weaveing till the end how do you add 1sr Boarder shape of 75 FHDC that you havnt shown 🙂

Is the foundation correct with 75 stitches?
@crochettoz
@crochettoz 4 года назад
Yes, but if you stitch looser than I do or if your yarn is thicker, you can start with fewer stitches. It should measure about 21” to fit an adult woman. I would make it a little less than the measurement you actually want, since it stretches.
