Did anyone else notice the crochet pumpkins? Beautiful! I need to buy some of those brown leather tags for all the hats I make, good idea!💗 Very nice headband, thank you for the video!!
Hey girl! Love your video. Your sprinkle of inspiration is wonderful ☺️ I do have a question, Is there any other yarn that would work well with this pattern? I’m not a huge fan of ordering online and I’ve checked all the stores close to me and they do not sell it anymore. I know! The nerve! Thnks again for sharing your lovely patterns with us. It’s appreciated more than you know 👍🏻👍🏻😉☺️
Hi, all! I found that on my head (that I consider on the larger side) using BERNAT BABY YARN, to make to reduce the chain to 46. Also, I liked the headband on the thinner side at three rows. Hope this helps all of my friends using chunkier yarn!
i don't have home decor yarn, and you didn't say what the weight of the yarn is so i can substitute something i already have, that would be nice for future videos.
Just found your site. Thanks for sharing. Will be making this headband for myself and friends. Really like the seed stitch, of course it is called by several different names. Still a wonderful stitch. Also really like those pumpkins in the video, do you have a video for them as well? Thanks again!
I made two of these with DK or 3 weight yarn. I started with a chain of 74+1 and done 5 rows for her which is child size. My daughter absolutely loves them. Thank you again!
@@ACraftyConcept Wow...lucky you! : ) I've been looking for something like that! I want to do my whole craft room in white. My brother use to do work like that before he got sick...he found out he had cancer, he doesn't do much anymore! It's been a while since he's done any big jobs...although he's doing much better now. : ) I had 4 brothers that were carpenters, but two have passed away and the other one is retired and travels all the time. But anyways...hope you have a blessed day...thank you for getting back with me and thanks for the cool video!
If you made your chain stitch too tightly it wont stretch good. One way to get around this is to do a foundation row first! To do a foundation lemon peel stitch row would be a little tricky though, you could probably just do SC's and see if you look the look of that. Look up "how to do foundation single crochet" here on RU-vid for tutorials. Good luck !
Oh forsure! Somewhere in the video I talk about how to adjust the pattern for different yarn/hook combos. I highly suggest playing around with different yarns becuase this stitch is so pretty!
Sorry Boogie thanks for your feedback. I am 100% self taught and making videos is a lot of hard work. This video is a couple years old. hopefully my newer ones are easier for you to watch since I have learned a lot over the past two years. This was my best work 2 years ago.
