@@sophiegrey9576 if a sniper was oblivious enough you could probably kill them with an escape plan but with a disciplinary action even if you get 1 hit off early he could still kill you with 2 swings of potentional random crit

I agree. If there’s no engines on the enemy team then there’s literally no reason to not use cow mangler. Oh and also if there are engies on enemy team but your team can communicate with each other then there’s no reason to not use cow mangler. It’s just legitimately a direct upgrade in 90% of matches.

I remember using it on a nest in badwater with the help of 2 other soldiers. Safe to say that every enemy engineer was so enlightened by that experience that they didn’t group their sentries together after it.

@@maroonweaboo unless they are a true sentry nest, and they turtle their sentry. crockets are bs and will kill the 125 class even with splash damage cause 140 direct hit. also disables buildings while you pepper them with 60 damage shots from a gun meant to resemble a hadron collider's rocket launcher counterpart

It works wonders because it disables them while your team destroys them without taking any damage from them, only problem is that you need the team to actually work tougether in the teamwork based game called team fortress 2. And if you actually expect that to ever happen then you truly are lost.

sacrifice your damage potential for mobility, consistent rocket firing and easily hitting enemies is good but its bad when used with gunboats since you already spend lower hp + why should you lose your primary weapon and secondary too? I think libby launcher is good with shotgun

well have a short list then. primaries: stock- best all around cow mangler- infinite ammo is good for spamming chokes and the charge shot can OHKO medics. don't use the kritzkrieg on it. also don't take out sentries because you can't. not even minis. direct hit- good for taking out sentries, otherwise splash damage is too valuable. black box- fun pubstomp weapon. not bad but you can usually just rj to health kits. air strike- it's fun to bomb in with the base jumper but it is probably better done on demoman. beggar's bazooka- fun but really unreliable. always gotta reload. liberty launcher- less damage for more clip is really redundant. the other upsides just aren't impactful either. rocket jumper- fun to do a little trolling with but otherwise not that useful minus practice. and jump maps exist so not that useful. secondaries: shotguns- stock is solid with a pocket medic but reserve shooter denies bombers and rocket surfing medics for the cost of two shells. and you can bounce people in the air with rockets. panic attack isn't that good on solly but you can bomb in with it i guess. righteous bison isn't a shotgun but it's a gun. and it's a shit gun. banners- buff is outclassed by the kritzkrieg existing and the other two banners giving passive effects, but it's alright ig. conch is good with black box on defense and the batallion's is like an uber push for your entire team. snipers can't headshot you, other foes can hardly damage you, just watch out for spies. overall they're all solid but you're forced to play back with them so you don't die imo. and when they're not charged, you're just playing soldier without a shotgun or gunboats. boots- gunboats make scout only the second fastest class in the game if you're really good at rjing. even if you're not, being able to jump out and in for free for the cost of no shotgun is amazing. wish demo had these too. mantreads on the other hand, yeah no. if they reverse equalizer'd these that would be cool. base jumper- easier bombing but you're a sitting duck otherwise. especially to snipers. melees: shovel/equalizer- useless. you're not gonna use your melee for damage when there's utility options and you have a rocket launcher. katana- better on demoknights. you're really slow already waddling. maybe meme a spy here or there. market gardener- funny for memes and all but i have seen really good players pick the med this way. probably more effective to bomb though. whip- good for winning midfights on 5cp. pain train- good after mid on 5cp. maybe backcapping on a/d but scout and spy can do that better, mostly. not if there's a sentry. escape plan- being able to instantly disengage from confrontations is really good on any class, especially one like soldier.

It is true. To prove it, grab any meele except the disciplinary action and try to hit the ceiling in the second 2fort spawn hallway. No weapon can hit it, except the whip. And it can hit people behind you.
