Good morning! For this first video out of the UK we are in my home country, France, and starting in style as we ride the TGV 2N2/Euroduplex with the new Océane interior. Our newly built trainset brings us along the French countryside at 200km/h between the cities of Toulouse and Bordeaux. Enjoy!

Thank you for this video, really plesant to watch. About TGV Oceane: - the first time I travelled with, between Paris and Brest, i just say "wow, the ultimate TGV" - i think now that this TGV is perfect for "business travlers" how want to work during the journey. - if you want to relax, other TGV are more confortable, you can recline more the seat. In my opinion, I love to travel with for theses 2 reasons: - great privacy when seated - big table for your ipad and easy watch films. A really better adventage vs flights. You like in your bubble, i'm a wild guy and love that !!

I think the other seats on the other TGVs offer pretty much the same amenities for a greater comfort and I just feel like the on board vibe is nicer. The main great thing in the Océane is the bar which is miles better than the ones it has replaced! Glad you enjoyed the video :D

I've done the route a few times, the last time on a blue TGV 🤩 and it's actually very beautiful and a nice ride, it's not all about Highspeed! Another excellent video Ben, well edited and very informative even if I can tell you've been watching Dylan from some of the phrases 😂 Well done mate 🙏🏻

Which phrases in particular? None of it is taken from him so i am intrigued😂 Blue TGVs are a big rarity now, they're no longer on this route due to the rollout of the Océanes! Yeah, it's not all about highspeed, the vibe on a TGV Duplex is one like no other on my opinion, whether at high speed or on a single track line 😁

@@trainlagged 'A reminder that train travel is faster than car' and 'Im curious to hear what you think', Oh and I said the same thing about Gustav Eiffel in my MÁV Kiss video lol. Don't worry mate, imitation is the best form of flattery 😉 I thought the new interiors look fresh, and fairly well thought-out. Shame they're not as comfortable as the Blue TGVs though. Oh and while I would never say 'Im taking an InOui', I would say 'Im taking a Ouigo' Strange 🤔

@@NonstopEurotrip oops, didn't mean to steal your joke😂 Honestly ive probably said the train is faster than car thing in every video haven't I, I literally don't understand the attraction on a route such as this one, over the train! Blue TGVs are not "gone", just repainted. Old interiors therefore still are a thing!✌️

France’s railways are pretty much reliable, efficient and the trains are also as reliable and amazing. I’ve been on Eurostar to Paris, Lille and Disneyland Paris on the train from London Waterloo International when I was very young. Before Eurostar moved to St. Pancras International in 2007. The French have made their railways so reliable.

Yes quite, but there is still a lot of progress to be made on railways in France, notably the focus on smaller lines.

Nice train pity the Caffè coach is expensive I think food and drinks on trains should be affordable at the bordeux station I love the livery of the blue sky colour train

Yes, it's extortionate, what a shame. The blue train is a Ouigo service (low cost high speed train).
