Thai Beef Noodle Soup 🍜 | Instant Pot Recipe
I made mines so Spicy 🌶🔥🍜. This was Full of Flavor. That Beef Broth was Everything 😮💨. Meat Falls off the Bone from making this in an Instant Pot.
There was a Collision of Flavors. A Perfect Balance of Sweet, Savory, Salty, and Umami.
Recipe:
Ingredients 📝
Thin Soy Sauce (1 Tbsp)
Thick Soy Sauce (1 Tbsp)
Seasoning Soy Sauce (1/4 Cup)
Rock Sugar (3 Big Pieces)
Beef Paste (20 oz)
Fish Sauce (1/4 Cup)
Cilantro Stem or Roots
Galangal (2 Thinly Pieces)
Chicken Bouillon (1/4 Cup)
Star Anise (4 pieces)
Cinnamon Sticks (1-2 sticks)
Fennel (1/4 Tsp)
Cloves (1/4 Tsp)
Peppercorn (1/2 Tsp)
Garlic Cloves (6 Minced)
Bay Leaves (2 pieces)
Sugar (1/4 of a Cup)
* Soak Rice Noodles in Cold Water.
* Toast Spices, Star Anise, Cinnamon Sticks, Fennel, Cloves, Peppercorn, Garlic Cloves and Bay Leaves. Place in Cheesecloth or in a Tea Bag.
Instructions 📝
1. Add Meat to Instant Pot.
*Your Choice of Beef (2 Lbs) 🥩. I used Beef Oxtail. Beef Short Ribs, and Beef Roast would be Perfect as well.
2. Add Aromatic Spice Bag, Cilantro Stems, Galangal, Garlic, and Rock Sugar to Instant Pot.
3. Add Seasoning Sauces. Then Fill Water to the Max Line. (My Instant Pot Size is 8-Qt Quarts).
4. Close and Lock in Lid. Pressure Cook.
Pressure Cook for 1 Hour (Thawed)
(Frozen Meat) Pressure Cook in Instant Pot for 1 Hour and 20 Mins.
5. Prep Toppings and Garnishes. Once timer goes off. Press down on the Quick Release Knob and Lock it down to release Steam.
6. Open Lid. Add Beef Meatballs.
- Beef Meatball is the Star ⭐️ of the Show! You can find these at the Asian Supermarkets. Try the one that comes with Tendon. It’s so good 😋.
7. Rice Noodles 🍜
- Soak in Water before use.
- Boil and Blanch for 20-30 Seconds or until your desired noodle texture.
- Strain in Colander over Cold Water to stop the Cooking Process.
- Pour Ladle Desired amont of Broth over Rice Noodles and Garnish with your Favorite Toppings.

Blanched Bean Sprouts
Scallions
Cilantros
Lime
I added lots of Garlic 🧄 Chili Oil 🌶🔥 and Chili Powder to My Bowl.

Seasoning Soy Sauce will be the the Golden Mountain Brand with the Green Cap. If you Google it. It will be the first to appear. And if you Google Thai Beef Paste. It will be the first to appear (Por Kwan Brand) You will need that Brand as well. Hard to Substitute. These Brands may be hard depending where you live.
