It's great that you are willing to share high school VHS tapes on RU-vid. For me movies, shows, and etc that depicts an era doesn't immerse me enough. It's kind of rare to see VHS recordings in highs schools and few I think were deleted. Thank you so much!

It reminded me how fast live goes and changes and also how fun life gets as time passes by, As a high schooler it made me realize that one of the best things in it is the people you meet along with the memories you make which has inspired me to make more of the time I have right now as a student to make new friends and moments with them as long as I am here as-well as too forgive and get forgiveness from mistakes that others or I have done before its too late because in reality life is too short and goes to fast to get caught up on silly things Best of Luck and Wishes to You and Everyone out there

I'm just a random viewer that passed by your videos, the 1999 reunion one and the one 20 years after. It feels like I got to share all those moments with you during your reunion(s). It's a wondrous feeling and I'm glad y'all are still keeping in touch. Made my day to have felt like I was a part of someone's life, and to share their joys with them, albeit momentarily. Some of the best high-school time capsule videos of the late 90s on YT. Perhaps a video about certain aspects that were more real and present at the time that we could use more of today. Personally I think the pre-smartphone world was more adventurous and spontaneous. Something about having less access to immediate digital gratification, communication tech, etc naturally stimulates the mind to further engage and make better use of the immediate present situation.

Thanks for uploading it! I'd be interested in seeing more content revolving around how things have changed between 99 and now for you, your classmates, and even your school. Seriously though, try and see if you could setup a visit to the school itself. Contact an administrator and show them the original video and how much interest and views it garnered, and boom, you now have a legitimate reason to follow up on the school. I went to Maine West High School in Des Plaines, IL, and it's part of the same district where Hillary Clinton went and where they filmed The Breakfast Club. The district is Maine Township High School District 207. It included Maine East, Maine West, Maine South, and Maine North (now closed). Hillary Clinton went to Maine East for her first 3 years, then to Maine South for her senior year, more than likely because it was brand new and district boundaries were redrawn. Her senior class was part of the first student body to attend the school. The Breakfast Club was filmed at Maine North, which is now an Illinois State Police facility. You offer some good suggestions! I am planning on visiting the school, maybe do some student interviews, maybe also do a comparison of how the school physically has changed from what you see in the original video. Stay tuned!

I went to GHS too, class of 2014! It was hilarious to see that the campus and classrooms were almost identical 15 years ago. Seeing young El Yousef and Gautreau was very neat too lol. Thanks for uploading!
