Trust me, Bill made the lives of almost every football fan miserable (besides Patriots). But you can’t deny greatness. He’s left his mark in this league. And I don’t think there will be another one like him.

49ers fan here. As someone who grew up watching the legendary 49ers Montana-Walsh era of the 1980s it was an awesome feeling like none other. To also have witnessed the times the Patriots made it to the Super bowl and lose was heartbreaking before the arrival of Brady and Belichick. For New England fans that were always loyal and supportive; they were truly rewarded with the Brady-Belichick era; 9 Super Bowl appearances; six wins over a 20 year period may never be witnessed again in the history of football or sports. Even the greatest have to step back and walk away. Coach Belichick will be remembered as one of the greatest if not the most dominant coach in NFL history right after the great ones; including Vince Lombardi and Bill Walsh. Well done Coach Belichick and congratulations 🎉 to you, New England ball club, fans and owner Robert Kraft.

Growing up as a child and New York City I love the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70s then later on I fell in love with the New York Giants. Bill Parcells was amazing and you won two Super Bowls with the help of Bill Belichick. Amazing with the two Bills went greatness followed. I love watching Belichick in master of defense got the best of players and coaches. However, my gut tells me he wasn’t true to ride by Mr. Kraft. I hope whatever Belicheck difficult goes he swings for the fences and shatters all records.

Bill, it's been an honor and privilge to see you coach the New England Patriots for the last 24 years. I just hate when people says who's better: Bill or Brady. You can't deny that Belichick gave Brady a chance when no one else did. He saw his greatness way before everyone else. It was his decision when he decided to stick with Brady and when Bledsoe was back healthy, and that is the best decision he ever made to this organization.
