It’s always terrifying when you see them glitch into the wall and now the rock you are hiding behind goes from being the safest to the most dangerous place to be.
@@gamerofthetime Yeah. Personally I have it off because I find using it in the inventory is easier. That being said I did do my first deathrun without any other mods active for maximum inconvenience. I really should have installed expanded hotbar in hind sight.
That really stinks. I hate it when they do that. Usually with me, though, it’s the Bonesharks. They move in to my base biome, hide in some terrain under the ground, then come out just long enough to attack me as I’m passing by, blissfully unaware. Tip: Never go into any area in which there is a chance that a Reaper may be present without having full health. If your health is 85 or below, don’t risk it, because the Reaper will catch you and swallow you whole. If your health is above 85, he will only bite you and you will have a chance to run away. Don’t let him catch you twice. Carry some medkits around with you, and immediately use one after you’ve been hurt (or two if the damage takes more than 50 health away, and in a Reaper’s case it probably will).
Nice job man! Hardcore runs are tough, particularly near the end. Takes a lot of time and practice! Though DeathRun is very difficult with a lot of new mechanics, so make sure to go in with wiki prepared!
@@bboythekidstudios i may be late but death run is a mod which can make de game FAR more difficult, hardcore is just a vanilla mode which is the same as the normal one (i think) but u can´t die
It’s not easy. I’ve finished the game in Survival Mode several times. But I’ve died 8 times in the past few weeks in hardcore mode, usually in the most infuriating manner possible. Drowning, getting boiled to death by a hot vent, toxic gas pods, getting ambushed by an army of Crashfish in their nest, you name it. Once is enough when you lose everything. I’m a fool so I’ll try again, but I would strongly urge everyone to not take the same risk. It really hurts when you work so hard on something for weeks and it all gets ripped away from you in a few seconds.
@@lolowski1115 i don't how potentially losing all your progress count as "nothing". Unless youre using more technical ways to save scum when doing hardcore, but at that point why bother playing that difficulty 🤣.
I mean, when i was at the mountains the first time i forgot to save and after i looted an entire wreck a reaper took my prawn under the map and i had to go back to a save from 2 hours ago
Я думала, что умру, смотря это видео, ибо было очень страшно. 😢 И ещё страшнее, когда погружаешься в бездну, и ты не знаешь, что или кто там встретится...
I had an adult ghost leviathan somehow end up in the safe shallows on a non modded game on my first play through… Eventually he just clipped out of existence and I thought it was the end of it… But then, whenever I’d touch the sand in the safe shallows he’d chomp me through the floor 💀
I knew what happend the second i saw the thumbnail That reaper goes into the underwater caves in the mountain when it is supposed to never go in the wall Which is why i got the solid terrain mod so they dont do that every time
I once stabbed a reaper leviathan. I assumed it would think “prey doesn’t hunt after you” then I remembered it is a video game creature and that’s not how it went down
This is veeery close to what happened to me, fortunately i had the time to grab my seeglide and escape since he roared from inside the muntain before attacking
You think that's bad, a Reaper can actually kill you even if it's stunned in a stasis bubble. I am not joking. Apparently it has something to do with their attack animation still going. Even if he's temporarily stunned, if you're in his face while he's still in the middle of attacking, consider yourself renamed as "Lunch".
This is heavily modded Sunnautica running while a recording software is used. The game runs really well while not being recorded, but something about recording it causes it to become very laggy, especially with mods added.
To beat the game you only ever have to face the the sea dragons I've beaten this game on hardcore twice and I never even saw a reaper Leviathan on my sonar closest call I ever had I was in the prawn suit and the reaper Leviathan has no chance even touching me in the prawn suit between the grapple arm on the upgraded booster the prawn suit is ten times faster than the reaper also the reaper isn't programmed to chase you into the safe zone it just does circles yeah there's those two juvenile ghost Leviathan that the two entrances to the Lost River but one or two creature decoys gets rid of them
