I literally just saw this advertised I’m surprised I didn’t see it earlier. I saw him in 2017 what a thrill. So glad I saw him when I did. What a blast
Really looked forward to this but 20 minutes in and I turned it off. You don't hear from anyone else in the band until 14 minutes in - it's just Jon talking. When Jon first mentions his band mates he refers to them as "my drummer" and "my keyboardist". Okaaaaay - so this is the Jon Bon Jovi doco then with some other blokes in the background. Go in with that as your frame of reference and you'll be OK.
Until I saw this doc, I had no idea of how politically involved he'd been. It's one thing to vote a certain way, but it's something different to use the platform that has been given from the fans over the years to advance an individuals political agenda. In any case I hope he gets better and is able to perform again someday.
