Thanks for the update, I am glad everything is going in a good direction. I remember my Great Grandpa and my Grandma's second husband needing surgery for heart attacks. It's tough when all you can do is wait for the doctors to find a solution. Having a supportive family is very important as well.
Waiting for the docs, now that he's back here, seems almost easy. When he was away in another country in the midst of it all, that was a helpless feeling.
very crazy situation - but he's home, i wasn't fully sure of the story at the time, apart from you saying he had a heart attack and was in hospital - thank heavens for the multiple strangers reaching out to assist you when needed - just shows the power of social media well done you for your content, being interesting, and being so human, you shine, bless you i hope your dad will be ok, but of course he is no spring chicken, these things are sent to warn us, life is sadly very very fragile, and it takes nothing for it to be lost, i know for fact, when people show signs of illness and frailty it is time to prepare yourself for the worst, and you probably had already done much of this this time round, i wish your dad the best outcome, and i wish for you to remain calm, stay strong because family will need you - much love
Hi Pete, ya, we got ready for the worst when this all started. Just today, we got his insurance renewed and last I heard, he was at the hospital in New Brunswick. Now we're waiting on the doc to decide what happens next, and when. None of us get much time, this is true. It's why encouraging people to chase their dreams is so important to me... Nothing scares me more than reaching into the last years, looking back saying "I wish I had...". This is all a good reminder that we can't put things off for tomorrow.
@@TheDigitalMermaid totally agree my darlin - i am trying to pursue a slightly better lifestyle, but here in the UK getting a mentor to slap me about and make suggestions is an issue - i have around a dozen ideas, and still four years on they are just ideas, trying to gain first hand knowledge is hard here in the UK, in fact it be easier to ask companies in the States or Canada and have a reply the next day - you guys over the pond are way more proactive, but it is a shame that your medical profession isn't run the same way as our NHS, but if you can put something by and have something to put by all well and good, if you have nothing, your pretty well f***d
