If you get enough exp to overflow the game's level cap (through cheats) this happens to the damage formula. Idk if there are other ways of causing it though
The game could also have corrupted ally resistances to phys? I know that gets stored as a signed 16bit int, so you can take up to 327x more damage from an affinity in theory. There's a glitch in hardtype that triggers it
*_UH_* Apparently some abilities have borked interactions with immunities, causing the multiplier to shoot up to 32767x, which still goes through if Pierce is added to the equation. Citing Jim Reaper as my source here.
