If a grease fire happens and the flames are too high to put the lid on you can also throw some flour on it too. (if you do not own a fire extinguisher)

you really should not give out advice without doing proper research apparently you did not take enough chemistry classes flour should not be used as a fire suppurasnt because it can explode!! it would be better to use baking soda not baking powder!!

Flour is combustible and will ignite. Don't use flour lol

My kitchen burned down 8 years ago because of a fire that started in the oven. I kept the oven door closed and cut power to the oven just like this guy said, unfortunately it got so hot in the oven that the glass door exploded and then the fire went from there.
