This is extremely reminiscent of the Berserk manga/anime. The whole entire premise is a near carbon copy. END GAME SLIGHT SPOILER . they do this again and it’s even more so like the eclipse. It honestly had me freaking out and no one around me knew what I was talking about. : similarities -Behleit and soul gem both require a sacrifice of something you love -both regretfully begin their sacrifice but once it’s done they ascend to rank of god tier power. -a skull faced being that once seeked great power appears warns travelers and gives them cryptic and direct messages -once the item appeared the holder was in a shallow reflective red lake -center-frame shot of the user holding item with a red and black eclipse in the background -great power that transcends reality and physics is casted upon the user -the ability to open a new world otherwise inaccessible (world of void/where godhand gather and the soul realm) -souls of others are forfeit and cast into the item/realm item is connected to, -the seekers are in look for great power and rely on desperation to receive what they want. That’s all I could think of rattling off without reaching anymore than I did(also tired). I’m more versed in berserk lore than I am in marvel.
