I'm going to give this an honest effort. I've had 20+ physio treatments over the last 6 months, including dry needling, ifc, k-laser. I've been religiously doing my rehab exercises--sometimes I'm 80%, but that's as good as it gets. I haven't walked my dog in months, we just play fetch. The injury is from jiu jitsu and years of being sedentary prior to that. I'm getting an MRI done in the next few months---I might as well try your protocol. I'll provide an update monthly, it's the end of August.
I've had pain in my hip since October it came out of nowhere first it started in the front of my hip then that improved and I got the pain in the butt you mentioned in this video. I was really worried it was a labral tear bc I had one in my shoulder a couple of years ago and I'm really worried bc I had the surgery and that was a nightmare I don't want to through that again!!! I've been going to PT and doing the exercises and the pain in my butt has subsided but I still have a lingering slight paint in the front of my hip. Its beyond frustrating bc I want the pain to disappear completely so I can get on with my life and resume my yoga and martial Arts training. I'm going to the doctor today for the first time to get this checked out but I want to avoid surgery at all cost.
@@susansnook5212 so far I'm also having some relief with PT as my legs get stronger they feel more stable but I still have a dull ache in my hip that I want gone. What is the physio having you do?
@@cyclone99x this has been a real struggle for almost two years and I am with my 4th physiotherapist at Cleveland Clinic, I wish I went here from the start! I have a lot less pain now, I also have tendnosis in a glute tendon. The pain at the side is still so a problem- currently getting shockwave which is really helping and slowly getting back to where I want to be! I feel that this will ongoing so lots of glute snd leg work in future! Just really has been not fun! And mine came it if nowhere as well! Aldo have a labral tear but so far it is ok!
