As Rhaenyra's husband, Daemon is the King Consort. If you're married to a queen, then you're a king and no longer a prince, unless someone doesn't consider Rhaenyra a queen. So if someone acknowledges Rhaenyra as queen, then by default Daemon is King consort and no longer a prince (to those who acknowledge Rhaenyra as queen). And as the king consort he is also suppose to be acknowledged as "your grace". The same way Alicent as Queen Consort or even now as Queen Dowager is referred to as "your grace" by those around her (Criston Cole, Larys Strong, etc.) Also Viserys didn't die of old age. He died of a disease. The disease was also the reason for his physical/visual deterioration. I really don't think Aegon knew Aemon was there. Aemon doesn't seem like the type of guy to inform Aegon that he regularly sees Sylvi. Aegon was simply drunk and looking for Sylvi to entertain his squire. I do think though that now Aemon is somewhat angry with Aegon.
You guys should have watched season one over again since it came two years ago. The Brackens and the Blackwoods have been at each other for centuries The Blackwoods and the Brackens have been at each other for centuries, this was highlighted in season one with the two boys from each house getting into a sword fight in front of young Rhaenyra after presenting themselves as suitors. The great hall in Harrenhal , Deamon was remembering his brother King Viserys being named king in front of the lords in that room, this was shown as the first scene in season 1 episode 1.
the only reactors that are clueless at the last scene... almost all reactors before Rhaenyra and Alicent met was hoping for them to bring up about king's last words and they also knew that it's too late
