To be economically sustainable, such plastic recycling activity should not pay for electricity neither the plastic feedstock. In Salento, with a good photovoltaic plant on the rooftop, the first point can be easily achieved. For the second, it is better to set up machine to process completely dirty plastic recovered from landfill into clean one and get paid for. Or get paid to accept plastic waste collected by municipal waste company.

Always awesome to see new adventures from new faces taking on the task of recycling plastic and making beautiful things from it. Our recycle journey is still on its way, but we have a way to go, but we will get there.
