In one month we turned this old car factory into our new workspace. Help us out with 💪 in our online army davehakkens.nl/community Support us with💰on Patreon / davehakkens
Just make a container that produces Lego-like bricks from shredded recycled plastic. A plastic brick seems to me the most useful item we can make with the plastic we recycle. Accessible and durable housing for the world!
This is a great idea ... but in hot countries the plastic will get hot and that recycled plastic will release that heat+harmful fumes when it cool down at evening so i think that might be concern for the people... or may be i am wrong about that
it would be cool if you built little houses/roofed areas for every individual workshop and put plants all around the inner walls so that it looks like an old english street market kinda place
Great work guys. So glad to see the place and the people coming all together. I can or can't imagine the stuff you guy's will be developing. My bad luck i couldn't make it to be a part of this fantastic team. Hopefully in the 5.0. ;). Until then all the best for your efforts
But seriously, amazing work on the new space! You all gave it so much life, with the kitchen and the food growing section, just amazing! Really. Antoher idea would be to try and learn from this experience of the workplace and look at it with the Project Kamp in mind, which would be a larger scale version of the Workplace, where bascially what happens is people living and working together, cooperating, coexisting. Just a thought.
That factory needs the total air conditioner and ventilation each section. That would help for the people working fresh in the place. melting the plastics produces uncomfortable air.
The place is really coming together and looking awesome! I'm very impressed and wish your team all the best! Great job! I have a couple important questions though that might have been overlooked during the tour... Just out of curiosity, where does everyone sleep? And where are the bathrooms/showers and laundry room?
I second Pauls idea, you guys need to start brewing asap. And if you were in Australia, that after 7pm rule would have to be put back to AT LEAST after 5pm ;)
7:29 I'm a bit confused as to why there isn't a clear pathway from the trashbins to the wormbin. You have a large shelf blocking the walkway. Less efficient and messy.
Super om jullie voortgang te zien! Qua beeldbeweging zou ik aanraden te investeren in een gimbal, zou de film stukken vloeiender maken in de movements, word er nu beetje dizzy van.
You should try to make 3d printer from scratch (with old printer and DVD Writer for example) specially design to use your 3d filament made from your extruder machine. I really believe that this kind of project can really make the difference. Indeed with a cheap 3d printer and a almost free filament, everything is possible !
Hey, you should just search the internet for 3d-printers made from scratch. There's already extremely much about that posted on the internet. Really cool! :-)
Please research a company called ByFusion, they make a recycled plastic brick factory inside a container! And the best part is that they don't need to sort out different types of plastic.
Cool s s s p p p p a a a c c c e e e !!! It will take a while for you to fill that up. it's the crown princess of Sweden, Victoria, so one day she will probably be the Queen of Sweden ... ... not sure if that's a good idea but, you know haha! Not her fault, she's a good girl! : )
