Why didn't she just let go of the ring? Once she had all her weight on the contender it was all over but she kept most of the weight on the ring for ages.Should have watched videos of Saracen from the 90s, he was the master.

Because she scores ten points if he reaches the end, but five points if she just holds on. By letting go and dropping (or in this case, being forced to fall) she scored zero points.

@@VideoPaladin Yeah I know. I meant the Gladiator, not the contender. She's trying to wrench her off the ring with her legs while still holding onto the rings, but the usual tactic back in the day was to get a good grip with the legs then just let go of the rings and let your weight pull the contender down.

@@craigcharlesworth1538 Ah, right. I see. I suspect because she didn't want to fail at it, and considering how long the contender held on for, this may have turned out to be the right move. Despite all the weight the Glad put on the contender, she held on for a rather long time. Besides, the Glad has all the time to do it in.

In hang tough which you are watching here the gladiators have to try and get the contenders off the rings.

@danielledewitt1 Yes, Kerry really clinged on! I feel like Legend is the hardest to beat at Hang Tough bc the main things you need for Hang Tough is flexibility, good hand grip, and good leg muscles which Legend pretty much has all of those things
