I am so Thankful to GOD for Dr. Anita Phillips! In my searching for GOD, He has been showing me emotions are a beautiful part of His design! When I read the Word I feel the it's okay to embrace all of me, but in family /church/society I hear so much about your mind and thoughts. I use/still sometimes fight w/ GOD and ask why did you create me w/ strong feelings like they are wrong because the society tells me they are "not useful/ I am over emotional or I am weak". I have lost, been berated so much over my exploration of who I am. But GOD shows me something different...that is where true worship of Him begins in my ❤! I have 💔 it's been broken for a long time, but David wrote He is close to us! And I have been in my Word, crying to GOD and therapy to heal my ❤! I am forever changed by what He has been showing me and Dr. Anita just confirms this! On so many levels! GOD BLESS Dr. Anita and GOD BLESS you in your journey of how fearfully and wonderfully you are made 🙏🏾😊

I just paused the video to make this comment about having tissues readily available ...when I was seeing a counselor a few years ago ... and this was a person who I actually saw for a few years ... I never cried during the sessions -not a single one - not because I didn't want to cry - but she had no tissues on her desk or in the room -and I just had this thought of crying and snot going everywhere and not having any tissues to wipe with -so I often pushed away the urge to cry ... okay now back to the podcast
