When my daughter was in high school, this song came out. We pumped this song when I would drive her to school events. She has blonde hair and blue eyes so when I hear this song now, it's her I think of. She's almost 50 years old. It's still her song. Loved your reaction, guys. Thanks for the journey back in time. I love this song. I'm disabled and can only stand for a very short time but at my eldest son's wedding he had this played and came to the edge of the floor, where I had been sitting watching everyone dance to great rock tracks all night. He came to me and took my hand and held them as we danced to this. I only made through half of the song but it's a memory I will hold in my heart forever.❤🤘💋

I was only 14-15 years old, had no ticket so me and my best friend sneaked in the Olympic stadium 2 hours after the starting time from an opening in the outer fence BUT since GnR were two hours late, we were actually on time! They were late because they had to finish a golf game back at their hotel as they said so people were pretty angry. I missed Brian May and his band that opened the concert but although people were angry at first and Axl had a bad temper about some people taking photos (he had the security guys to "take care" of them), It was something else!!! We had to walk back home after the concert since the subway was closed because....they were late and as you said they had a 3 hours playlist. That was a 7 hours walk from one side of Athens to the other and then we had to endure the panishment from our parents but worthed it!!!... Played a big outdoor concert in Melbourne (Australia) in the early 90s. It was an unholy event :) I was an attending volunteer firstaider. Treated people for heat exhaustion at 8.00 in the morning. Was pulling out people with hypothermia at 3 the next morning. It was insane. ..... I think Slash had a relationship with his guitar. :) Try Welcome to the Jungle

6:31 here’s a little something when he was asked of his mixed background, Slash has remarked, "As a musician, I've always been amused that I'm both British and Black; particularly because so many American musicians seem to aspire to be British while so many British musicians, in the '60s in particular, went to such great pains to be Black." Seymour Cassel gave Slash his name. His son & Slash were friends and he called him Slash because he was always zipping from one place to another and never sitting still.

The best thing about Slash is that he let Conan O'Brien use his face in place of the "slash" key when showing web addresses on-screen. Well, that and his amazing guitar playing. Comparing him to Stevie Ray Vaughn is like comparing Luciano Pavarotti with Johnny Cash - the music they make is so different that they can't be properly compared, even though both are utterly incredible.

Saw them in Miami 1991 on New Year's Eve! They didn't disappoint. Amazing evening. I believe Axl is/was Bi-Polar, but creative and amazingly talented. This was the best band for a while. Slash founded another group, Velvet Revolver with Duff McKagan, etc. Lead singer was Scott Weiland, now deceased. They had a great song, "Fall To Pieces"! Give it a listen!

Singer Axl Rose wrote SWEET CHILD O' MINE for his ex-wife Erin Everly. They had a short-lived marriage. They dated for longer than they were married. Erin Everly is the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. Funny thing, Axl Rose had a better relationship with Don Everly than his own daughter did. Last I heard of Erin, she still goes to Axl's shows when his tours hit her town.

Yes, more Guns 'N Roses!!! Awesome reaction, Amber knows what's up! Lead singer is Axl Rose, and as many have said he and Slash are iconic. Axl's range is/was amazing. I think I asked for this on the first GNR song you did, but I'm going to ask again; please react to Guns 'N Roses "You're Crazy Live Late Show 1988". Axl's voice (to me) is perfection in this video, the best way I can describe it is if Robert Plant (Led Zepplin lead singer) and Janis Joplin had a love child, it would be Axl Rose in that moment.

I'd never heard of them but girl I was with had seen a video of theirs on MTV (back when MTV played music videos) and was very excited. They opened with this song and I was knocked on my ass. Shortly after that I think they finally started headlining as "Welcome to the Jungle" became a hit for them.
