As someone who runs a music store, this is what I imagine any time the repair shop sends something back saying "the cost of repair would be greater than the worth of the instrument". There's always a part of me that says "...okay but what if we fixed it anyway?"
I used to work at a music store too. I've seen unspeakable things done to saxophones, and the miracles our repair techs performed when the customer insisted on repairing it. Dog bless.
Whenever I watch Wade play drums I get super inspired, realize I’m not nearly as good as him and get discouraged. But one day I just kinda told myself: “This guy has been playing most his life, and has a music degree.” Now I practice to try and get as good as him *Eventually*
I've had a fair few new writers say they could never hope to be as good of a writer as me. What I always tell them is that I'm only as good of a writer as I am because I've been doing it for 8 years now. Same goes for you and your drumming, my dude. Keep at it, and one day you might hear someone say they can't be as good as you. Tell them the same thing.
He reminds me of a crazy grandfather left untamed and causing chaos. The way he says, "I'll get it!" immediately after launching the drum, has a python called Frank, and is obsessed with older tech just backs me up on this lol.
Context for our Yankee friends, $49 is actually a fair amount of money in Australia (especially for someone who works as a musician; aka, unemployed) and Cashies is basically the MacDonald's of Pawnshops
This guy has an awesome personality and sense of humor. He should start another channel where he posts car stuff and other garbage all the time. Maybe call it like Garbage Time or something. Dunno, might work.
@@untroubledwaters2137 A channel where all he does is shilling ipods and comparing literally everything to them? Brilliant idea. Maybe even call it dankpods
I swear if Cashies had a drum made from an old rusty coffee can with balloons ziptied to it for $67, youd buy it and it would be content the next day. Thats why I love your channels
Haven’t laughed till I cried in quite a while. The multiple tosses just sent me for some reason. You’ve got a charm and humor that is rare and uniquely yours. Thanks for sharing it with the world and making our days brighter. If you ever find yourself in Dallas Texas one of these days hit me back - I’ll buy you a beer 😎
There's this volunteer run bar me and my band practice at and their house snare was exactly like this except all the lugs were in place. I went ahead and fixed it up.
wow it’s almost like ive seen this guy somewhere before, like i think it was in a dream i had, and if i remember correctly this guy had a youtube channel about ipods, and he had an old ipad with a green case on it, very strange…
