@@RobbyLayton when u love what you do it's no longer work. I had a gremlin x with a 360 best lil car I ever had. You still building derby cars?? Hope so
Enjoying Seans skill and expertise on this Build.. It is refreshingly evident the entire team is enjoying working with him.. He makes the entire build look easy even though we know its not.. Robbie, Hillbilly, Demri, Coulton and crew are allways entertaining while getting the job done.. Its a joy to watch you guys working together.. 👍
They all bring something different to the table. Colton is cameraman/narrator, Hillbilly is a great mechanic, sean is a killer fabricator, Robby makes auto body work look easy, and the boss is cute.
I love watching you guys working on your vehicles, its awesome how you guys can work so well together, i love watching hillbilly and colton working together i like the banter they have but they still get the job done !
I always watch soon as the notifications come. Ya’ll are the best. I wish I could get some merch I would. Just enough to be a member for now. Keep it up 👍 ❤😊
With all the talent in your place Robby. Do you have any apprenticeship program for the young and upcoming and not just school kids. Anyone young person that would like to learn. What you could teach them !!
Another great video! Sean is amazing. However, I would be strengthening those motor mounts. The lower legs look awfully skinny. IDE be afraid they will stretch/deflect under load.
Robbie you and the guys have done an amazing job on the bus and the boss's pacer and Sean has turned out to be quite the fabricator you need neei i love the video's
I love Pacers....I love this build. You guys are pretty much just covering up a Pacer floor pan with a tube frame with Pacer body panels. That's not a bad thing, it's actually pretty cool looking.
19:50 I've never worked with any tubing frame, except to install a simple roll bar before. So I find this front end adjustment feature amazing!! t's so simple!
Learning to TIG good just improves your skill and versatility as welder. While MIG has it advantages mainly speed and ability to handle larger gaps, TIG when done right is stronger and less likely to break or crack in the long run. Sean is earning his keep by being a great fabricator and an even better teacher. Can't wait to see it come together
Dang Robby! Just when I thought you had the perfect crew, you topped it again! You have the most incredible channel on RU-vid! That’s why I can’t wait to watch your next video! Dat’s money dude!!!!!
47:00 Try grinding the tungsten "ball end" .. just make the end and spherical as you can easily grind it by hand. The pro's like pipefitters etc. never use this style, but for non-pressure welds, like making cars, it is gives you a little more leeway moving the puddle around ... the arc can center itself, in a way unlike point ground tungsten's do.
25:00 They make very light plastic mock up motors. I REALLY wanted to buy one, when I put a 350 small block in my 1966 Chevy Van. BUT they were too expensive! :( The Chevy van came with a 230 - 6 cylinder :) ... BUT? I made up brackets for stock motor mounts, the first time I tested the engine in ... never had to pull the motor transmission assembly back out even once :) . The real feat was making the stock "top mount transmission mount" ... work for the TH350 transmission!
Make sure to check out what Brent and the PFI Speed guys did with the fuel cell for skiddy. That way you can skip over all the interior fire stuff with yours.
