Was about to pause the video and comment about polo 9n/ ibiza 6l using the same engine and box. Glad I kept on watching 😂 Really seeing the improvement in fab work with every bracket you make! Shifter bracket is looking really nice!

Yeah since I changed from 0.6mm to 0.8 wire it made getting a good weld much more consistent. Once I swap the CO2 out with Argon/CO2 mix and get a bit more practice in, should be even better.

I bought that same welder about a month a go, I bought a 2L bottle and full regulator from a local about 2 weeks ago and it’s like night and day. I am running a 5%co2 argon mix and if I’m honest it’s hard to make bad welds now. The regulator is light years ahead of the one you get in the box.
