Hi Jeremy, So great to see you back! When will you answer some questions concerning your last pull-up video (->is doing that back workout once per week indeed enough to progress pull-up numbers fast?)?
Hello I wanted to ask u if u can pls do a video for beginners. I used to go to the gym few years back but I stop now I want to go back but I want to know what kinda of exercise i will need to do so I could accomplish what I want to. And how to count my calories I want to gain muscles like yours or maybe a bit bigger
I got a part time job at target. I have to walk the entire time while working to shop for online customers since starting eight months ago I've lost seventeen lbs. I consider my shifts walking workouts. :)
Wow who needs a Gym membership when you can simply walk LOL, Also great you still have the same job after a long 8 months, Even that's a challenge, I can't keep anything more than a few weeks :/ And that hit on my motivation and get depressed and then the weight came on, I used to be long ago 88kgs and now I'm in the mid 90's
@@David.L291 you need to stop feeling sorry for yourself. I have no doubt that you can lose the weight but you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself are you ready. It’s a life style so go into it slowly. You will start to feel good about yourself again.
I'm 49 & I walk 8k (4 miles) every morning and also another 4-5k (2 miles) throughout the day. It's sounds hard but can assure you it's not. Once you do it for 2 weeks you will shed inches fast and your body will get used to it. Then after the 3rd week you will see your stomach start to shrink. I lost 22lbs in 90 days doing this. However, I did cut back on sugar and stopped fried foods as well. And also drink lots of water. You have to sacrifice for what you want. Walking is natural anyways and our body needs water so that's simple. The sugar and fried foods are a mind thing. That's not as easy at it sounds but it's worth trying. Now I don't desire neither one. Either you want it or don't. It's that simple. No in betweens. Stop hoping for gimmicks. They don't work. Just walk and cut back on bad eating habits and you'll be happier than ever. When you look good you feel good
I do about 8k -10k steps daily. Being outdoors is a great way to feel better overall and it’s a nice break from working in the office. This is one of the best videos I’ve seen without all the extra fluff. Straight to the point and very simple.
I agree with this. I walk every day about 3miles. It’s actually quite relaxing and able to catch up on listening to podcasts while I do it. I lost over 10 pounds in two months but I also cut a lot of junk food out. One thing I will stress is don’t weigh yourself for two months but instead listen to your body. Your overhall heath will start to improve and you will start noticing the difference in how your clothes feel.
I transitioned from keto to caloric deficit (slowly to avoid weight regain) and have been walking for a hour each morning and 30-40 minutes each night. Went from 434lbs october 25, 2023 to 316lbs to date. I've only just started trying to achieve my total steps of 8000-10000 in a day to finishing them in a session of walking!
I walked for years. My gout has dissappear for almost 4 years now. My joints are stronger. In the beginning it was painful. I gaved up many times and gained weight again. But i fought it. Now im down weights and i feel as strong as 19 years old again. Walking and weight training is amazing. Dont ever give up!
@@dreadlordn7fn381 its a struggle... i can't do stairs. I was bedded for 2 weeks because my knees has inflamed and swollen up. I'm currently maintaining my weight, i have eaten poorly lately with consuming sugar but I've been working out, being active, i just recover recently and fighting the pain. Its tough but its better than being obese and worthless. We got this fam! Stay positive
I just recently started walking and I’ve seen more results in a week than doing strength training or heavy cardio for a month. I do it outside for an hour and I honestly love it. It’s way better than doing anything indoors. Some days I just walk fast and some days I walk for most of the hour and do two or three minutes of running intervals a few times in between. Like he says; it’s something that I can see myself doing for a long time. Walking is something that is naturally easy so sticking to it seems more possible tan sticking to other types of exercise that require a certain mental state. With walking you can certainly achieve a long term commitment with yourself.

I’ve been trying to lose fat for past six months, worked out 5 times a week and the most time I dropped weight was 1.2kg, last month I found this video and decided to give it a try. I did 10,000+ steps every day for 30 days. I saw a lot of difference in my legs in the last week, and today I weighed in, I could not believe it. Lost 3.2kg. From 70.5kg to 67.3kg.
When im working out and say I’ve had 2.3k calories as my deficit. Do I deduct from the calories I burnt from working out too or no? So if I consume 2.3k and burn 200 calories then im at 2.1k or do i now consume 2.5k and the 200 deducted so im now at 2.3k?
@@marco7838 I try to consume less than 2K calories a day, and usually go for around 1,8k. Since my goal is to lose fat I did not add extra calories for walking 10,000+ steps a day.
@@sherwanahmad3147 So if i eat 2.6k and i workout and burn 300 calories then it should be 2.3k or 2.9k to consume and then the 300 deducted so 2.6k again?
I'm 61 and for years have been trying to lose that extra bit of tummy fat. I have tried all sorts of things and like you say, it's so easy to get bored of doing sit ups, push ups or other exercise, even if it is only ten minutes a day it becomes a real chore. So, I started walking more. I always enjoyed walking but never did enough. I now walk five mornings a week, four or five miles each day and my average daily step count has increased from 6,500 to 12,000. The only real change I have made to my diet is not eating after 7pm. I started this on 1st June and have lost 16lbs so far. I feel revived after my walk, it's great to be out in the fresh air, listening to birdsong, seeing wildlife and enjoying the scenery. This has certainly been the way to go for me, I wake up feeling I WANT to get out for a walk. Thanks so much for making my goal so much easier.
You can take a college health class too. My professor was smart and he went to the same gym as Cain Velasquez and Daniel Coormier when he was in college.
He literally has all the information in detail in all his videos, u just need the motivation to get up and do it not the money the information is all here! I know this because I’m in the same boat but time to get back in shape asap
This is totally irrelevant to the conversation but .. you claim to not have enough money to hire him as a PT but have a nightmare looking Porsche as your dp.. if you have Porsche money you have PT money 😁
This was actually my only way to lose weight when I was 260lbs at over 40% body fat. Running or anything else wasn’t possible. I worked up to 20k steps per day, sometimes even more but did it for a solid year until I lost enough to do other things. I’m now 50yo, 185lbs at 21% body fat (after doing this for a few years) but still do 15k steps per day on avg in additional to weight lifting and HIIT. It will always be a regular stable and great way to explore outdoors with friends and family. Even at work I use it to get away even for 10 min breaks to stretch the legs out after sitting in a long meeting or front of the computer. BTW, been following this channel for a long time to get good tips and been in great shape since! Thanks.
I started walking a little over a month ago and wasn't sure if I should try something different type like sit ups to get my stomach trimmer, this video helped motivate me to continue with my daily walking routine. Excellent work the way you put the video together, really appreciate it!
@@Ghostevinny I walk between a mile and a half to two miles a day. I'm 64 years old and had a hip fracture 30 years ago so jogging would be too much on my hip, which makes walking and excellent choice.
You can't do spot reduction of fat. Sit-ups can be hard on your spine, planks are alot better. Most people focus too much on trying to get visible abs, when it's really a matter of losing body fat. Stronger abs can be developed gradually through alot of exercises, including lifting. Even walking or using an elliptical helps keep the abdominal muscles in shape.
I daily go for a 5km walk in my local park after my Fajr prayer. It makes my day infinitely better. Also the best part of any day is the time during the sunrise and that is the best time to go for a walk... Key is to sleeping early! 😄
100% true. I started walking about 25-30min a day which was around 5k steps. Then once that got easier I stepped it up to 8k-10k steps a day and it's honestly so easy. I've lost around 15lbs in past couple a months incorporating walking at the start of my day. I was 233, I am now around 218. My goal is to get to 200, then eventually around 191 which is my optimal weight for me height. I also do strength training 3-5 times a week. Walking for about an hour each day honestly is a great way to start the day especially in the morning and you will notice other people doing the same thing, passing by someone, smile and say good morning helps start each day with positive energy! Plus you feel good because you did it.
@@andrewcruz3837 Honestly bro, the best start to fat loss is diet, even if you walk 20 miles a day, if you eat junk food regularly then you will never lose fat but rather you will continue to gain more fat instead.
I started walking home from work instead of taking a bus, about 2 months ago. It takes about 40 minutes to complete the way. What I could see is that I started to lose fat even without making great sacrifices on eating. It was easy to introduce into my routine, and without exhausting me from the effort.
So now I know why I'm having a big belly fat. Back in the days I used to walk from home to my working place... It's about 8KM so go and return got 16km every day. I was eating anything and I did not get any ugly looking stomach. But since I started using buses and motorcycle, all hell broke loose! Especially in Africa, Tanzania, my place we do not have a good system to share nutrition tips... Shit is getting worse!
I have been doing this since 8/22/22 and have lost 70 pounds. I love that I’m watching this and saying I’m glad I started this method almost a year ago and it has helped me dramatically, count calories and low impact workouts and 15,000 - 17.,000 steps per day sometimes more! Also remember “You gotta stay consistent to see true and lasting results! 😊 (the girl I follow her workouts says this all the time!) We got this, Don’t give up 💪🏼
I walk an average of 12,905 steps per day. On rest days, I still get 9-10k steps. I work in a large industrial yard and have to park my car about half a mile away from my office. The facility I work at is pretty large and has many stairs that I have to climb so that certainly helps my step count too. Despite this, I'm at 34% body fat (mainly because of diet) so my primary focus is on eating lean. But it's good to know that I need to keep my steps up while I do that.
Do you have to power walk , in the video he is walking so slow , I know my heart rate is quite high when I walk , as I walk fast , am I better slowing my pace down and getting my heart rate lower , I do about 10 to 12 km a day
I had sciatica for around a year and I definitely gained a lot of weight while not being able to walk without extreme pain but now the sciatica is for the most part gone and I’m trying to get back into working out like I used to, thank you for this video man
@@Libyan1984 Not sure if you were asking me. I had excruciating sciatica leg pain. I had 3 epidural injections over the course of about 6 months. None of them seemed to work. Then months later the pain just went away. I'm not sure if it was the injections finally taking effect or the grace of god. But thank god the pain is gone.
@@douglasanderson5516 I was actually asking Jakob. But it is great to hear that your pain has gone away too. I understand how hard it is to live with such a disabling pain. I have my wife complaining of sciatica for almost 4 years and nothing worked with her case except acupuncture
This makes sense. The reason cardio is challenging, is because the body is struggling to resupply fast enough. But the total muscle work getting from point A to point B is probably comparable. It's not the pain in your muscles that drives fat burn. So comfortable sustainable pace is probably key.
I average at least 14k to 15k steps a day and 20k steps on a free day. I started walking a few months back since I wanted to lose weight. I started 4k steps everyday until it increased to 6k and then 8k to 10k without me noticing any difference from it. It really helped me keep off my weight gained nowadays especially when I'm busy with work and all. I still walk everyday and try to incorporate occassional workouts as well as playing basketball when I have time before I head to work. I started from 105kg now down to 80kg within the course of 3 months I believe. I know I still have 20kg more to lose just so I can achieve a perfectly healthy BMI but I'm not worried. Walking has become a part of my lifestyle now and I'll keep on doing it till I can't walk no more. Great video!
@@mystickal6342 hey! I'm so sorry for the late reply, the notification didnt show up or I must have missed it when you replied to me 😅 Where to start? Depends on you really. I'm not just walking and losing weight, its a combination of efforts. I walk daily and do fasting! It's safe and i highly recommend doing it instead of doing high intensity workouts. Walking goes well with fasting because you dont have to use too much energy while getting your daily exercise. You wont feel too hungry once you get the hang of it. I recommend you watch fasting videos. Check out Dr. Jason Fung's youtube channel! He's my reason why I pursued fasting and it helps me keep off weight and lose a couple of kilos a week if I control my food intake. Best of luck buddy!
@Darasgun Kaur then the problem must be on your daily food intake. You can exercise as much as you want but still remain the same weight if you dont lessen the food you eat!
I was not expecting this and was really happy to see that I’m on the right track with already 10-17,000 steps a day plus weights at home. Like the gym and swimming too. It’s great to be active and feeling so good. Thanks for the vid 😊
Did you like fr burn more calories than you ate ? Like for example my recommended calorie intake on the deficit is 2,250. Theres no way im gonna burn 2,250+ calories a day right ?
This is one of the best pieces of advice on RU-vid. At a point in life, I could only muster enough motivation to get out of home and walk every day. However, that changed everything without any particular change in diet. Over time; I drastically lost weight, my VO2 increased, my resting pulse matched my athlete friend, etc. The best result was the improvement in mindfulness which was never expected. It is unbelievable what being mindful of the 5K steps target can do for your life. Very overlooked form of workout & meditation!
Im doing about 40000 steps a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Frid). Along with around 750 press ups and 750 body weight squats. Since the start of the year, I have dropped about 2 sizes in tops and and 3 waist sizes in Jeans. Im real happy
Jeremy, thanks so much! I've been stressing over not doing HIIT and my usual agro training post-hip replacement, and have been walking briskly a couple miles everyday just to stay sane. It's so great to know I'm actually doing myself a world of good while relieving stress and maintaining fitness! Seriously appreciate this. Commitment renewed!
Hi Fuller! I've been wondering, once you've had hip replacement, are there any activities that are forbidden? Like jogging maybe? Or can you lead an absolutely normal life?
@@isabelleweiler5603 Hi, Isabelle! I was told that at a year post-surgery it's ok for me to do anything I want (martial arts, yoga, etc), but that if I do a lot of running and kicking the implant will wear out sooner than it ought to. The pain relief has been amazing--I could barely walk last year because my right hip was crumbling--and the recovery time was short to regain walking ability. I was in and out, back in my room up the stairs, in 8 hours total. It's definitely taken over a year to feel 100 again, so you have to be patient. Good luck to you!
One of the best videos I’ve seen ! I’m 67 , was having lots of unbearable back pain , eventually decided to walk for 5000 steps at 5 am every morning, cut back on fried / 0il / sugar foods and now . Zero back pain and feel fit and healthy:
I got out of high school 5 months ago I was 280 now I’m 215. I just started working a hard job that i actually love. You can’t stop it’s super fast paced and it’s way better than the gym and it’s fun seeing how far progress has came by in 5 months
That makes so much sense. When I started my new job, it involved a LOT of walking. Usually at a normal pace, but some times it was a little more brisk. About 7 hours of that, 5 days a week, that make sense why I noticed my weight dropping significantly only after a few months at that job. Coupled with a slightly less caloric diet, i had no problems losing it. I was above 210 lbs for years, but after 4-6 months at that job, I found myself well below 190lbs. I did lose some muscle in the process due to not intaking enough protein at the time, but the fat loss I experienced was practically worth it.
I have a similar story. I’ve always struggled to find the motivation to work out but my new job requires a lot of walking. I honestly wasn’t sure if I could keep up because it was so hard but eventually my body got used to it and now it’s not a problem. I wasn’t even trying to lose weight, but I ended up losing 20 lbs in a little over 4 months.
I lost over 100 lbs just by hiking and watching my calories. I try to take at least 10,000 steps per day and usually up with around 18,000 because of work. I have started running and working out. I want a complete body recomp. Thanks for the advice. Glad to know I'm on the right track. 😊
My average last year was 3,484. This year, it's already 8,892. The improvement on digestion alone is worth it. The actual fat loss is slow and gradual, but the lack of gut bloat is dramatic.
I totally agree with you!! I started a 10 week challenge to just start my weight loss and I am losing 2 pounds a week including the excessive belly fat I have current weight loss 16 pounds with 2 weeks remaining. I’ve lost all the weight this far thanks to walking 3 mph with 3.5 elevation on the treadmill for 36 mins.
You are so correct about being consistent in walking to running. I was once addicted to running but got tired much later due to age bracket and was adviced to walk more and I'm so glad to the switch. So walking is it for me.
Sorry, Jeremy, but the calorie deficit + walking model is dated and limited. Three years ago as I was recovering from knee surgery gone awry, I proceeded on a walking program, starting at 8k steps daily, then increasing to 15k steps. My weight continued up to 242 lbs, at which my MD said that I was "Obese". Proceeded to study weight loss models, and came across the import of Insulin Resistance. Cut my consumption of carbs to < 50 g daily. Monitored my weight and the dimensions of my upper waist, waist, and butt via excel. Proceeded to lose 3 lbs daily, and within 6 mos had lost 20% of body mass, and 17% reduction in waist and butt measurements, and reduction of pant size from 42 down to 26. And walking only 6-8k steps daily. The final benefit: food is now a choice, not a craving.
I'm 21 and I enjoy walking. It gives me peace of mind and makes me forget my problems. Never had any fitness problems. I highly encourage everyone to enjoy walking and live a long, healthy life!
I feel like the key to this, is to live somewhere that is conducive to walking. ...either a mile or so from your job where walking as transportation makes sense, or in an area with trails/beaches etc. Most of us live too far from work to walk, and live in apartments or subdivisions where walking means pointlessly going down the same streets every day in a circle.
I'm walking just over 20k steps per day, doing a 4.5 mile walk or run every day depending on how I feel. If I don't feel up to running, I'll just walk instead. It takes me about an hour to walk 4.5 miles, and about 40 minutes to run, so it's basically the same either way!
My neighbor has a pretty big belly and I didn't see him for most of the pandemic. He walked every single day and when I saw him again, he looked so slim. I couldn't believe how he looked. Just by walking every day for one hour. He still does it and he looks great! He is 65 years old.
I know a lot of people like to joke around and ultkmately never do anything, but sincerely, I appreciate this. Having numbers and achievable goals are so much more helpful than most people give credit. Thank you so much for not only the info, but the motivation to get myself back in healthy condition.
Awesome video. And this is personally proven for me. Some time during the pandemic period, I stuck to a consistent long walking routine of 5-7 days a week (1-2 hours daily/7-10 km average - with loads of podcast listening goals achieved then) and I made great progress on fat loss including belly fat. Before last Ramadan, I had started sticking to my gym workouts including a consistent walk/run mix in the cardio part but it hurt my ankle tendons and the doctor ordered I stop running the way I was and I am now back to no-other-option walking and I am absolutely convinced it will work.
I started walking in the beginning of May and cleaned up my diet. So far I’ve went from 230 to 207. I get about around 15,000-25,000 steps depending how my day is. Great video!
@@identitycrisis9145 I walk about 1 hour in the morning and after dinner I walk about an hour and 15 minutes. Of course whatever happens in the middle of my day the steps add up but just those 2 hours alone I get about 15,000-20,000.
This is what I've liked about your channel and videos. That you use: facts, data, studies, not only what you think, you actually justify it with something.
Great advice, Jeremy. Not only does walking help you lose fat and improve your overall health but it also helps you to clear your mind and give you the chance to sort out things as you walk. I'm kind of spiritually oriented so I try to "connect" with the "Universe, Spirit, God, whatever suits you" while walking, so before I realize it, I have put in a lot of steps in a pleasant manner. Thanks a lot!

I can attest to this. 3 years ago I weighed 325 lb. I am 6'1. I first started with 6,000 steps then 8,000 steps and then 10,000 steps in the course of 3 months. I could not walk a mile without getting tired and had to sit down. By the end of the fourth month, I had lost close to 20 lb. I then started to look at my diet. I stopped fast food, and restricted myself to a 1700 calorie a day diet. I got rid of processed sugar. Then all sugars. I maintained my 10,000 steps had more energy. Within the next 3 months I had lost close to 50 lb. I have continued and within that first year I had dropped over 100 lb. I dropped to 175. Recently, my work changed. I wasn't able to walk, I laxed my calories count, stopped intermittent fasting and I barely hit 3,000 steps, Within 3 months I started to get my belly fat back, and I gained close to 35 pounds. That was unacceptable. I found time for the 10,000 steps just adjusted my routine. I started meal planning and food prepping knowing what I made had just the right amount of calories. In just 3 weeks I have already lost 10 lb again. Walking works, but diet is very important as well. I do enjoy what I eat I don't feel ever like I am missing out. Instead of having a half a pizza, I will have two slices of pizza. Pretty simple. Thank you for this video. Walking and diet especially sugars cutting saved my life
The inherent flaw of living beings is that it’s easier to gain weight than it is to lose weight and it’s easier to overeat and incredibly hard to undereat. In early 2018 I was pushing 270 and after about 2 years of intense diet and exercising before the pandemic started i was about 210 but because work got crazy during covid and I wasn’t watching my calories as much as i had been and didn’t have as much time to walk and exercise and had to conserve energy for work then a year or so later i was back to 240. It’s simply ridiculous how easy it is to gain weight but how difficult it is to lose and maintain…
Very sound advice! I did a study abroad in France for one month in the summer. I walked everywhere and ate everything. I was surprised at the end that I had lost 15 lbs and that my pants were loose. Never underestimate the power of doing something low intensity for a long time.
I just discovered this this month. Have always been a big HIIT guy + weight training. But absolutely correct that it’s a mental battle to keep up that intensity for HIIT consistently. Made me feel demotivated. I wanted to encourage my wife to lose a few kgs so I decided to walk with her for support. I found It helped me fill my cardio void without the mental battle to get up for a HIIT session or sprint session. So I walk with my wife everyday for the past month with weight training and diet and lost some fat already. I’m thinking I could keep this up for the rest of my life. Good video! Effortless when you get into it. Just the only downside to walking is it takes a long time. I could do a 20min HIIT or Sprint and I would be good. Walking takes a while.
I have come to the same conclusion, i walk a lot, around 11-14 hours a week and i am starting to see my abs again which i haven't seen in years. Obviously this is excessive i wouldn't say people do this but it's worth saying it was very easy for me to adjust to this volume because walking is so natural and low impact to the body. Great video.
Doing light cardio out alone (be it walking or running) is one of the most pleasing experiences one can have for free. You have time to reflect back on yourself, to think "why am I doing this", to think about what you want to do both short and long term and plan it out... It's like meditation of some sort. (either that or you use cardio as your music/podcast listening sessions xd) Doing cardio with someone else while talking with them is also a nice way to form and strenghten relationships.
I have to say this vid helped me the most in weight loss. While I still got myself up to a jogging level with c25k, I do more walking and focus on walking more than jogging. It’s just more comfortable. And the weight loss really came when I moved to whole food cooking and non processed foods and also weighing myself everyday at my dry weight.
In one month of walking regularly, eliminating processed foods thus only eating whole foods and fasting some, I’ve lost 12lbs. This next month, keeping the same new habits & incorporating working out 4-5 times a week. We’ll see what the progress is like at the end of the month. Appreciate the video.
@@Yukzula not at all. I don't have it to a science or am perfect but i try to stay away from any fast food, most cereals, chips, boxed/canned goods for the most part. I guess, to eat whole foods- fruits, vegetables, grains & some meat...
12lb is too much to lose in one month. you should aim for 8lbs per month. or 2 lbs a week. any faster and you will have a serious loose skin bag problem to deal with. you will still have lose skin when you get to your ideal weight, but going slower gives your body time to reconfigure some of that tissue and make the problem less of an issue.
I agree with this. I've been walking all my life and within 2 years of the pandemic when I stopped walking, I've gained a lot of weight and I was always slim
@@Pasta_edits None, just a simple walk. Before the pandemic, i didn't have much weight on so walking frequently was the only exercise to keep my weight down. During the pandemic, i was mostly sitting down so you can expect the weight gain
Honestly, I am 14 years old and am 210 lbs. It is EXTREMELY hard for me to lose weight and every time I try, it usually only keeps me at the same wait instead of losing that weight. I am deffinitely going to try out your ideas olong with the usual for me witch is riding my bike around our neighborhood daily (around 8 miles daily).
I can actually aproove. I started working out last summer. I did massive amounts of cardio. But the fastest and most fun for me way to lose fat, was hanging out outside with my friends. We have walked a lot almost daily. I burnt 1000+ calories just in one day by just walking, and imagine hitting a workout the same day (which i have done). I've lost a lot of fat. Now I have a lot of school and I have final exams waiting on me and I still have fat on my belly, but when the final exams are over, I will get lean and sexy.
I walk six miles a day, Monday thru Friday. I do 100-200 push-ups *slowly*, M/W/F. And, I do 600 sit-ups, Monday thru Friday. I use my walking time to catch up on podcasts and the time moves very fast. I have, since 2010, gone from 320 lbs to 197.
@@carnagerulez312 he’s just giving an example of what he did, he never said u had to do what he’s doing. Just do a little bit at a time, you don’t have to do it for 5 hours. @@akane65 Slow and steady worked for me, so good luck with your workout regimen! PS: my daily workout takes me a little over two hours to complete (I watch the calories, too) ….I’m not sure why he thought it would take five.😉
@@jamesrfb because the average person takes around about 30 - 50 minutes to RUN a 10k (6.3 miles), so if you WALK, at an AVERAGE walking pace, which is approximately 4.5 kph, a 10k (6 miles) would take, mathematically, OVER 2 hours.......😐
Thank you Jeremy! I’m struggling with my weight. I used to walk a lot and it always helped me to get in shape. With this much excess weight I was convinced I needed a gym membership. Thank you, thank you thank you! I’m going to call them today and cancel. Amazing how the simple things in life can do so much good!!! ❤❤❤
I have been doing workout by watching videos here in RU-vid, and running and walking every morning for about 2.3 miles, and after 1 month, I lose 18 lbs. 😍❤
White Okay ru-vid.comUgkx6K7NWahp9y3ir1gVAwysOCHOOPSnWZbw . I got it from my browser's history. I know that it's really frustrating to be over-weighted but all is possible with a strong determination. Good luck…..
Exactly the info I needed!! Thanks Coach💪🏽😎 i do about 12k-16k steps per day, but split up between 2 x 1 hour treadmill sessions, morning and afternoon.
My partner lost 1 and a half stone in 3 months and reversed his diabetes by doing a morning and evening walk adding 10,000 to his daily routine . We cut right back on carbs and his alcohol intake and he is like a new man ! Happier and more positive this is fantastic for us both ... Get your trainers on and go for it !
I been walking for 40 mins 3-5 times a week around my neighborhood since the fall. The results have come much faster than I thought it would, this man knows what he’s saying
141 pounds, I am going to start walking. 4 days a week (8km per day).I will be back after a month or two with the results. Also will be doing intense cardio (15mins) and weight lifting (30 mins) 4 days a week.
@@EvanRockwell1 A study of nine healthy weight adults underwent two conditions, one of daytime eating (i.e., three meals and two snacks between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.) for eight weeks and another of delayed eating (i.e., three meals and two snacks eating from noon to 11 p.m.) for eight weeks. The team found that when participants ate later, compared to the daytime condition, weight increased. I started this exercise ( 12 3 30) 12 incline 3 kmh for 30 minutes daily on treadmill and did this for one week. & I was shocked when I checked my weight after 1 week I had lost 3.75 kg. I avoid sugars coffees rice and start eating vegetables & fruits.. believe me walking is best
Recently I got addicted to HIIT workouts, and exercising generally. I feel like all these workouts and best meal plan I ever got in my life from Next Level Diet will help me to get me slim before August :) Let's go!!
Hey Jeremy, I hope this could help me to get rid of that stubborn belly fat. And before you guys start judging me, I already started eating clean. Got some meal plans from NextLevel Diet three months ago, and it's working really great so fat, but I just need to boost up things little more with this.
So happy to hear you confirm that about the walking. I've been on a detox diet for my sinuses eating vegan and fresh. I increased my walking to at least an hour a day and added some short hit workouts. In 3 weeks I lost weight and become lean with lots more energy.
Sorry I have never measured my calorie intake. I was doing intermittent fasting eating in 8 hour window. I would start my day with juice of one vegetable or some times one fruit. Then an hour later I would eat a good bowel of one type of fruit. Few hours later have lunch and last meal finish within 8 hours of having breakfast. Just had fresh vegetables mostly vegan, no processed or packaged food, this was for my sinuses.
That's nonsense. You may or may not have lost weight? But you don't lose that kind of weight from merely walking. That ridiculous. For an average person, the biggest factor for and against losing weight is diet. Virtually anything else you do will have no effect. And typically, you can only consume about 1000 calories tops, but that may be too many?
@@jerrysamuels8716 I'm not saying I lost it only by walking, cmon, use your brain. Of course I radically changed my diet, I mountain bike, go to the gym 4 days a week. But walking has been a big reason in aiding my weight loss. Just like the video talks about. Chill out bro!
A middle ground would be eliptical, it's a lot easier then running and it burns more calories then walking in shorter period of time. It's something I've been consistently able to do for 20-25 minutes, which burns somewhere around 260-300 calories
I use to do 15-25,000 steps a day (sometimes more) a couple years back all from walking. It was my mental escape and I dropped a lot of weight and felt great. Started around 225 lbs and 5 months or so later I was in the 195 range. Sadly I got comfortable with life, lazy and got away from walking. Now back up to 225.....so looks like I need to start making the time, not the excuses, to get back to those long walks and start back with that calorie deficit. For those thinking about getting into this - my suggestion would be to either use a smart watch or an app on your phone to track your steps....then create goals (x # of steps (or km/mi) / day). Makes it easier to stay motivated and before you know it you will be walking all the time and have withdrawals when you are not.
My average daily steps is 14,000. Weight about 136 lbs @ 5’7”. I also do weight training 3 to 4 days per week. Folks, walking does help you to lose fat or to maintain a lean physique.
I just started walking. On my lunch break , instead of eating i walk from my job for 30 mins , when i hit the 30 min mark i turn around and walk back to work.. its easy and doesn't bother me. Its better than walking on a treadmill i guess because im sight seeing as well . I did it 4 days str8 and dont plan on stopping. I cut out junkfoodd too
@@cookingsmart1235 yes when i get home . I used to eat alot for no reason . Now i just eat when om hungry . By me walking on lunch it eliminates a uselss meal . I had to start light tho . I started cutting back on sugars and snacks then unnecessary meals . Im down 13 lbs
@@dancingbam4240 I'm doing your exact same thing with the 30 min mark on lunch break ! I've also switched to a savory breakfast and it keeps me full until 6 PM , basically almost a 12 hours fasting, it really help to stay focused during work hours 💪
Learned about walking from Paul Revalia a few years ago. Currently walk 11k for 5 days a week scattered throughout the day including 15 min after each meal when possible. Also walk between sets for 3 min rest periods. Currently at a plateau so plan on upping step count and thinking about adding one day of hit. I’m 59, 189 lbs at 6’ tall. Great work Jeremy! Aloha
My average is around 6000 steps, I took almost 9000 today without realizing. I then walked for an hour and 15 minutes and took it up to 16,345! Gonna be taking a minimum of 15,000 steps daily from now on!
I watched this on the treadmill as it is midnight so new day, new step count. Walking is fantastic. I have gone from 307 on June 7th 2021 to 181 now. Walking 4-5 miles a day has played a giant part in that. Can't recommend it enough.
They have so much of data on what you eat and how much you exercise.. they already know you have belly fat.. Also it's highly probable that they can see you through your mobile camera.
You have a nice running form. The key to sticking with running is to join a running club. (It’s curious so many weight training guys on the internet do not mention this.)
