hey bro thanks to your vids i just started my own detail business i just advertised on letgo and craigslist. need to figure out how to make a biz facebook so i can post on marketplace. i just made my first sale/job today did a full wash/rinse, rinse w foam cannon, wax bug and grease remover, rinse, wiped clean, buffed w compound, final wax, inside detail, tire shine/rim cleaning for 100$ (but the guy knew that was low and gave me 160$) i had 3 hours to do it and it ended up being 3.5hrs. thanks for the inspiration man

Great job to detailing the inner fenders and cleaning the tires and rims. First! I figure the rims are the jewel's that make or break a very good detail. I believe the customers starts looking at the tires and rims first. Then the paint and trim. Then the interior. I approach this way of detailing. I even ask what's the thing they look at first when they pick up their vehicle from a detail job. So you know what means the most to them. If they don't say. I make sure the whole vehicle is in awesome shape. When they come to pick it up. I learned glass is very important in this video. Will use the clay on them. Then the two towel method also. Shawn.

Good job luk All the way from Laredo Texas. Yes the rubber and vinel is the best in my book that and the heavy cut cuz i also detail aluminum rims. They got the goods. Its worth every pennie and people if u all get any kind of renegade products u dont have to use alot to make it work with a minimal use it will do the trick.

And for the windows u can use the KISS MY GLASS BY RENEGADE. THAT U JUST APPLY AND TAKE OFF AND IT WILL GIVE U GOOD RESULTS. CLEANING THE WINDOWS WAS ALWAYS A CHALLANGE BECAUSE I LIVE IN LAREDO AND ITS 100 DEGREES DOWN HERE AND THE SPRAY WOULD DRY ON ME SO I WOULD HAVE AN UP HILL BATTLE BUT WITH THE KISS MY GLASS BY RENEGADE UR WINDOW PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED.

Use an APC for tires. Generally 1:3 works well for me.

I cant get my foamer to foam properly ive put in the right amount of soap, tried 3 diff soaps, filled it all rhe way w soap...added little water added lots of water still dont foam like how I've seen...

Hey Luke do you always use your pressure washer and foam cannon? Or would you be fine with just a hose. Would you recommend to get a pressure washer and foam cannon for a professional? Wondering if there really is a need for them both for all clients asides from waterless washes of course. Thank you

I know I’m not luke but in my experience, a pressure washer is basically gonna be your best friend. Really helps you get off the thick dirt and grime in all places. But it isn’t necessary by any means. A foam cannon is honestly controversial. I personally like using them to help loosen up the dirt and I usually foam cannon the car and then go around with a detailing brush and agitating the soap in small areas such as door handles, emblems, grilles etc. Just makes it easier when it gets to the hand wash, because it’s harder to get into those areas with a larger mitt. Hope that helps

The Ape I’m glad to see someone admitting that a foam cannon is controversial. A pressure washer is a great tool, absolutely. However, I used to use a foam cannon, and while it was fun, I finally had to admit to myself that it didn’t do much besides waste my time (and water, product, and ultimately, money). If you don’t have a very specific need to use one, such as loosening heavy contaminates on black paintwork perhaps, they are largely unnecessary. They do make you look “professional” and impress some folks though. Personally now I just view them as hugely wasteful the majority of the time

We have road salt, and snow, I go touchless in the winter once every two weeks. It's my winter maint. Skip the cleaners and wax. Or pay and spray.

Salt is a bitch here in canada. Easy way to avoid it is oil under spray got had a Cadillac for 8 years not a spec of rust under the car other then some exhuast clamps

You another detailers are kind of funny with the car wash thing. And swirl marks. 90% of people don't notice Pace world. And cars look good coming out of those. And that's a fact. Not necessarily. Some people have physical ailments that would prohibit them from doing a full-vehicle wash/detail like this. Some people make an amount of money where it's more profitable for them to do their job, while paying Luke to detail their cars.
