Gotta tell ya Doc. Eight days out from a routine gastric LapBand removal that turned into a major abdominal 5 1/2 hours surgery. Followed by port site infection that required re-opening and packing, j-tube draining all over me every hour, pain I couldn’t begin to describe. I’m really appreciating the GI specialty and love to watch a good parody on the importance for colon screening. If someone had caught this stomach erosion sooner I wouldn’t have gone through this 💩.
