Great footage, chats and interviews. Glad you covered what the ladies did the day after the cut. Makes them seem more human and they took the cuts like ladies and just wanted to do something else to make the most of the weekend. Really great job (and Nat of course) with your own style of interviews because of your previous position at the Games and building relationships with the athletes. Tommy 100% correct that Mat Fraser "bailed out" the structure of the games. By the way Rory...going on your own was the best thing that could happen to you.

Well done on this series. Have enjoyed it tremendously and some of the candid conversations that you had, were fantastic. Do agree with Tommy and how they bailed out the structure of the weekend. You see that as Dave continues to post results for each event and use the crutch of Matt/Tia winning. Interesting in a few shots how many of the top 10 were wearing Nike Metcons or other brands not Reebok.

Love that she and Sara found a local race. You can take the athlete out of the competition, but you can't ....

This Games series was your best. The edits and story were heaps above your others (China, Iceland, etc). Keep emphasizing a story but keep it organic. @rory & @nate, You guys are killing it !!! 💪💪

They say change is good but in this case it really sucks. The games from a fan aspect is something I count down to every year and this year was no exception. The only problem is the new format is not good at all and the way they dealt with the cuts is garbage. When I say cuts I'm not only referring to the athletes. I'm also talking about individuals such as yourself. You in my eyes was one of the faces of crossfit and one of the main figures we could always depend on to keep us informed on everything crossfit. The way you're being treated is unjust and the shot callers need to get their stuff together. I hope the appropriate changes will be made for the coming years and thanks for all that you have done and will hopefully continue to do.

I think the cuts shouldn’t go below 20 athletes. Once we get to that 10 it eliminates that comeback story we all love. I don’t believe froning would have ever won under these rules. I will say it proves how ahead Matt really is though because even with that difficulty in points he still won. I believe under last years rules Matt would still be way out ahead and it wouldn’t have been as close as it was.

Basically the half ironman distance tri was a test for next year's games lol

Great video! I think the race they ran wasn’t a half iron man though... it was bit shy of it. But still big achievement! Especially for these athletes who don’t train for tri’s specifically!

Tommy nailed it. It's tough for CF I'm sure to get things 💯 first time. The structure is volatile. Maybe that's the plan. It is run by a couple of very volatile guys. You can't create the structure to suite the fans Favorites. Some of those cut did not do their best! You can't train to sprint the workouts from event #1. And be there for event #12-16. Or can you?.

It shouldn't go to 10 athletes period. It makes it more of a game and not a true test of fitness. The scoring changes too much and it makes certain things worth more based only on when it happens. That's dumb. If I want to watch something like that Ill go watch the price is right

How is it Rory’s fault for giving Brooke the phone? Shouldn’t the Athlete be at fault for having interference from someone else? It’s no different than saying my supplement was “tainted”. ... it’s the athletes responsibility.
