Reviewing BASE cars is the only way to go because it gives us a better understanding of what you will definitely get rather than what you could get if you bought the options.

Wife and myself purchased a 2021 Pacifica two months ago. I can honestly say that if you can get past the persona of owning a minivan, its by far a better selection than most SUVs if you have two or more young children.

Honestly just found your channel and it's really refreshing I hate when car reviews give you cargo space stats as if I care what 35 cubic feet is. I just wanna know what realistically fits thanks for for that. Just really like that you hit on the important stuff keep up the great work!

LOVE her attitude and knowledge on vehicles and the techy stuff. We're a family of 5, and these reviews are great. Wife and I previously owned a '17 Sedona SXL, which we absolutely LOVED with 70k miles without a single issue; just replaced tires and regular oil changes. Anyway, we just purchased a preowned '19 Pacifica Limited w/vacuum option (so no spare tire-thumbs down on that) and it was nice to see the differences on the newer Pacifica's. Keep up the great work ma'am!

My husband just got me a Pacifica for Mother’s Day! I love it! We got the limited hybrid. I am so in love. So much luxury! We test drove a Toyota Sienna same price level and omg you get so like so so so soooooo much more quality and upgraded features with the Pacifica at the same price!

Bought a 2021 Pacifica hybrid limited a few days ago. Love love love it!!! Can’t even remember my previous cr-v life. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙌🏻

We had one as a car rental two years ago and it was difficult with 3 car seats. We lucked out that our FF car seat doesn't require a headrest, so it was able to fit in the middle, but it mean the entire back row was unusable. No one could fit next to him, and I had hoped to ride in the back. We had two captains chars and they fit our seats fine, but when I have 7-8 seats and only 3 kids it would be nice to be able to move them around as needed. Since I couldn't fit in the back I couldn't see if their back seat belts were okay for booster kids. I know in our older town and country we can't have adults or kids in booster's on the sides, and none of our rear facing kid's seats can fit... so we have a mini van that can't fit 3 kids right now until we're in the next carseat stage. It was GREAT when we had two kids though.

Bahahawa, I am now a minivan non dad (well if you don't count my pittie). Just bought a 23 Pacifica and came here to see review. I find the V6 very adequate and tech is impressive. The main reason for purchase was the stow n go seats and ability to pull a 1500lb pop up. I looked at trucks but they were pricey and mpg blew. I can slide a 4x8 piece of plywood in here and gear is locked and protected from weather. Got the Touring L in S trim. I just need a baby on board placard to be the ultimate gray man. Storage up front is phenomenal and the center console now has a cover over it. If it is reliable, I will be very happy.

Loving this channel, love finally having reviews of vehicles that talk about what i (as a mom) actually want to know about in a vehicle! A couple times i notice camera person focuses on her face while she's talking about a feature instead of aiming the camera at the feature she is describing, which is a little frustrating at times, she's pretty we know, but we also want to see the car features! ;) Keep being awesome Car Mom!!

Can you do more Subaru tours? I have seen your Ascent tour, but I don't see a Forester, Outback, or Crosstrek tour. We live in a townhome in a high cost of living area and we have a small garage so we don't have room for the big SUV's or minivans. My husband has the Forester Touring, and it is a good size for us, our dog, and our 2 year old even on road trips (we do sometimes use a cargo carrier for long trips). I recently traded up from a 2013 Hyundai Elantra to a 2021 Crosstrek Limited as our second car, and I love the little bit of extra space, the higher ground clearance (makes getting my toddler in and out of the car easier), and the safety features. It is really fun to drive too.

We use the coin holder! For us, it's essential for Aldi trips where you need a quarter to "rent" a cart.

I use the coin separator in my pacifica. For third row carseats, it's a lot easier to just use the seatbelt to install on the outboard positions.

I love your videos. And even love them years layer when considering a used vehicle. I'm currently driving a 2013 Chry. Town and Country but want to upgrade soon.

The base Pacifica has all those features because Chrysler split up their mini van line in 2020. They made the Voyager the lower trims and the Pacifica is the higher trims.

regarding the coins, a lot of states still have tolls that work best with coins so i think that's why they keep that around

Pretty amazing-I’m impressed!

I recently rented a Pacifica and I kept wanting to turn the shifter to turn up/down the radio. Other than that we really liked it.

We just got a 2020 Pacifica limited S. Oh my gosh, love it so much! So many amazing features and I feel so much more comfortable with my 3 boys! My youngest is in the second row in a captain chair and my older two are in the third!! So Many cubbies too!!

Definitely needed to go into more detail about the forward facing car seat set up. With the tilted head rests, and they cannot be removed, forward facing car seats can be a real issue and sometimes it’s not compatible. It will cause too much over hang, or the car seat head rest pushes forward with the vehicle headrest and the back of the car seat can’t make contact with the back of the seat. Honestly the only reason why I refuse to purchase a Pacifica is because of the headrests. That’s a huge issue.

The snow and go was a genius invention because it made it so that people that wanted to remove the seat to to do big loads from the home Depot or a musician with amplifiers and a small PA system they just throw the sheets down stow and go and when they didn't need the seats again update come back. And Josh eliminating having to make space in your garage or even your living room for the seats that you took out and then after a while you just get lazy and you don't put them back in, but with stolen go amazing. It's going to go seating motorized

I’ve moved couches in my Chrysler van. Love the stow and go. It drives very heavy. Which is annoying if you like cars with good acceleration.

3rd row car seats and anchors... Most fwd facing kids and their car seats are going to outweigh the anchor supports. Therefore, seatbelts make it work. I own a 2017 Pacifica and got two fwd outboard and 12 year old in the middle. And yes you can still use the the tether points whole using outboard positions.

Just one look at the oversized disc brakes and I know this is a well designed vehicle. Also this is the the only vehicle with stow and go-where the seats go fully flat enabling you to load 4x8 sheets plus AWD and a superb infotainment. This has more space than any SUV. Definitely get captains chairs and NOT the bench seats,it is much easier and MAKE SURE to get the Stow and GO for both 2nd and 3 rd row. Take full advantage of what this car can offer b/c it is the only one that can do that+ AWD If you get it in black it will look like an SUV. Electric Hybrid is offered but then you lose Stow and GO b/c of the battery in the floor. My only hesitation is the new price. It used to cost 25K as Dodge Grand Caravan but 50K now ! Please read this: Now is not a good time to buy any car new or used due to inflation and dealer mark ups. Next year cars will go down in price due to millions of unsold 50K cars like this one. Dealers know this and are no longer ordering cars to sit on their lots. You will never see hundreds of cars on dealer lots again.All cars will be paid first and then ordered making the customer wait for it to arrive. ( This was common in Europe and in Soviet days people waited 1-3 years to get the car they ordered. ) Soon enough internal combustion cars will no longer be produced (2025) Soon after that they will be outlawed.

Hahah I had a 2018 a few years ago, it wasn’t my cup of tea. However there were things I did love. I was one of those people who used the coin collector but my daughter grabbed the coins and put it in my DVD player 😭

Would u recommend putting 2 rear facing carseats in side and middle of 2nd row with 3rd seat stowed? That way we have easy access of front facing in 3rd row?

It’s possible that with the right forward facing seats you could do it in the 3rd row. They would just have to be narrow. Now I’m curious and wish I could test it 🤣🤣

Like the review, however around 15:00 you say this car can't do hybrid and AWD but the Sienna can. There is a major difference between the Pacifica "plug in" hybrid and the Sienna hybrid

Ahhh I wish you would have went into detail about the non removable headrests in stow and go causing some forward facing car seats to not get a good install. Wanted to know if they still do this on the newer model. I own a 2017 Pacifica touring l plus.

0 there's also a mechanical pull and push handle on the side of the door above the turbine lock for the sliding doors that will close as well

We finally bought a chrysler pacifica limited hybrid electric. It's the only electric van option available at the moment. The space is huge and adults can easily sit in the 3rd row. You can get the rear entertainment system, panoramic sunroof. The toyota doesn't have that option or the ev... We love toyota but they need to offer more features.

My mom had one (touring L) as a rental while her old car was totaled and she had to look to buy a new one. she ended up with a 2021 ford explorer limited brand new but I miss the minivan😅 and the explorer isn’t as momable as it could be we need the minivan especially since she has for kids and ones a infant and the other is a 8 yr old and then there’s me and my sister

Curious if the bench seat is big enough that an adult could sit in the middle between two car seats. I love that my husband’s truck is big enough that I can sit in the middle of the kids on longer trip, and I’d love the option to do that in my next vehicle. That would mean my husband would have to be seen driving a minivan, so it may never happen anyway 😂

Its not surprising that the Pacifica's interior is so accommodating to Mom's/families as one of the lead interior designers of the Pacifica is both an engineer and a Mom. Her efforts are exemplary. This vehicle is the most practical (by far) ever in automotive history (mostly due to the brilliant "Stow and Go" seating) making this vehicle the best of a sedan, SUV (when equipped with AWD), cross over, station wagon, pick up truck (it will accommodate a full sheet of plywood / drywall while being able to close the tailgate), van and panel van. Splendid Chrysler.

Did you know that the center cup holder you pull the handle from the bottom to push the cup holder back in but you also pull the handle up from the bottom of the rear cup holder to pull it out further as a drawer and another cubby compartment oh my God.

Do you think you could have 2 rear facing car seats in the middle row when one seat is stowed away?

Our 2021 Hybrid Pacifica we just bought is muuuch more responsive and drives much better than the non hybrid alternatives, IMO! Worth a test drive for anyone considering! That was my deciding factor. Also... confession... I use the coin holders🙈

The headrest for forward facing seats is horrible! It also becomes a major issue with high back booster seats. The back seats recline on the Limited which causes major issues with car seats (3 and 5 year old like to play with buttons) No way to turn the recline off 👎🏼

We want to see the car and interior so I would advise to place camera behind when reviewing the front dashboard and better lighting would def help.

Thank you for your review! however, I disagree with some of your assessments. Pacifica has very good acceleration, does not feel heavy at all. It also has very good turning radius, I felt like I was driving a car instead of a Minivan, way better than my highlander.

Hey i have a question. I just found out im pregnant with twins and i already have an almost 3 year old. I absolutely love the Pacifica so far above all others. Growing up my family avoided leather because living in the south & Florida it would burn your skin off. I'm curious, why do you advocate for leather? Does it have the auto start where the AC can cool it down before you get in or seat coling system? Thanks loved your video!

From a guy who is not American, what’s wrong with having a minivan? I mean I read comments about ‘minivan persona’ and all that stuff, I think this minivan is cool and practical

ok got to stop you at the end. The steering is speed sensitive. I've driven Mazda's and VWs all my life. I can tell you without a doubt that the Pacifica is not a Mazda or VW, but, does steer and get up and go very easily It does not feel heavy at all. In my comparisons between the 2017 Pacifica (for which I did buy), a 2017 Sienna, and a 2017 Sedona, it was the Sedona that felt the heaviest, but the Pacifica that felt the tightest in chassis rigidity. And steering radius is by far way better than those two! I can actually even steer tighter than my wife's Mazda CX-9.

The coin thing is for tolls, from my experience, but tolls are so darn expensive, most are using bills, not coins.
