RDX is coming in averaging for me here in Philly area 70-80 less per month than X3! Again thank you , truly appreciate your videos ( especially this one ).
One of the best in its class. Hopefully Acura change the infotainment to touchscreen in the redesign. I remember their concept infotainment system was a touchscreen.
Overall love my 2021 aspec Downsides 1) infotainment when using CarPlay (regular use is a great) 2) pano roof flex and pops 3) keyless entry and walk away often unresponsive 4)usb placement close to where you put your phone may cause the port to break over time as it gets knocked a lot
Great review! I like the 1:1 touch pad. I hate fingerprints one the screen also using Apple CarPlay it works fine. Lastly I am one of those rare individuals focused on actually driving instead of dealing with the infotainment system.
Great review Lauren! Looks like it was a super nice day to be in the L.A. area. Love the color of that RDX! Please put me down as also someone that would prefer the rear wiper be tucked up under the rear spoiler.

@1:07 " it's an all season tire...so if you wanna drive it thru the winter, you may want to get winter tires"....huh? When did winter stop being a season? Are these tires good for spring and fall or do you need spring and fall tires for those seasons?
I have rdx A-spec 2021 and the tire is M&S (Mud and Snow) thats the minimum requirements in Canada during winter season. I just drove it from Cargary to Kelowna for 12hrs because of the snow storm last Month and i dont have any problems.
The RDX A Spec + Advance is supposed to be in the low to mid $50k range, it's not $58k. This color combination on the Acura configuration makes this version of the RDX $51,800 so it's more like $52,000 as shown here
The Aspec with Advance package is 54,945 with Destination charge. If you add Tax, Title and License your out the door price will be around $58k in most US states 😊
Great review. This is what I a, talking about, do great but keep it to 10-15 minutes. Acura infotainment is a mess. Otherwise it is a fine vehicle. And they need a real transmission shift lever.
That is a marketing line. In northern states and almost all of Canada, places where winter is actually cold and snow, driving through a winter on all-seasons without a major incident can be attributed more to sheer luck. The biggest difference between an all-season tire and a winter tire is not so much tread pattern, though that plays a part, but the rubber compound in the tire. Truth is, winter tires are made of a denser rubber compound than all-season tires. All season tires are good till 40-degrees, then they lose traction.
Looks great! That doesn't look like New York. :-) So which do you like better. This or the GV80? I know the dealership experience is a drag for Genesis, but driving this over the Genesis? Do they compare? Or mostly close enough and it depends on personnel preference?
Looking at the Advance 2022 model but am concerned about prior brake noises, leaking moon roof and transmission issues, ie. burning smell, shifting lags and grinding. Also, CarPlay disconnecting issues. Have they fixed all that yet? The touch pad is not a concern.
Acura has managed to become a HORRIBLE manufacturer! I am on my sixth new Acura (22 MDX), and my last! My car has been in the body shop for the last three months waiting parts after I hit a deer. The delay is ALL on Acura and they have offered NOTHING for the severe inconvenience.. I haven’t had a car at all for 2 months (Insur only covered 30 days), reported the issue to Acura corporate and haven’t even gotten so much as a “sorry for the delay” from them. They are simply pretending that me and my issue don’t exist. GREAT after purchase customer service. I am done with Acura! I will definitely be in a Lexus once this lease is up.

I had to wait over a month for a transmission from Nissan...it is all about supply chain issues and it not just Honda/Acura. The smaller volume the vehicle, the longer it will take to get parts. My friend has a Tesla and it took 4 months too get body parts to repair after minor fender bender. And no, neither Elon Musk nor Tesla ever apologized for the delay 😊
Every SUV maker appears to place the rear wiper at the bottom of the rear window, instead of hidden in the rear roof spoiler. Many motoring journalists have been stating this point for the past 10+ years, yet manufactures ignore. Be interesting to gain an explanation from manufactures, why? Certainly no mechanical, technological, safety or design reason that makes any logic, so must be financial! Like current technology, manufactures are all slowly going away from safe, easy to use function buttons as for example heating controls, to all functions only accessible through a multi media screen, often with a number of layers to get to the functionality required. Yet consumers and motoring journalists are shouting out against this. Only conclusion to be drawn, is vehicle manufactures don't care what is best for the consumer, but what is cheapest for them with the highest profit margin, unless it is an item forced upon them by legislation around the world. Says a lot about the auto industry and explains the rear wiper positioning! Thanks for another informative video
Another dressed up, overpriced Honda. I prefer to stick with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis for a far better warranty and lower price. To say nothing of avoiding Takata airbags. Another top notch review by Lauren. 🥳🤗😊
