I just test drove an A3 FWD version and was very impressed . I am considering a 23 A3 FWD with a 18in wheel sport suspension pkg. 38mpg highway, regular fuel, and is quicker than the numbers reflect ( 201hp/221 torque)....because it also has a new mild hybrid 48 volt battery system which contributes to the acceleration/power. ( this adds 12hp and 37 lb ft of torque upon acceleration for short bursts). I am looking for a more practical replacement for my 2018 Audi TT Quattro and now retired and in NC and don't feel the need for Quattro. I am also considering a new MK8 VW GTI.....
I've 1.5 TFSI 150 PS version and it's quite fast too. You have bigger boot (425l saloon, 380l hatchback) than in quattro/S3 versions. Also with 1.5 TFSI you can buy parking heating (it's not an option with 2.0l). IMO A3 stands over new Golf - in VW all is quirky and no there are no physical buttons :/
Please note that, most of these cool features have to be selected while placing the order. and it costs extra. even the net holder on the seat need to be added for an additional cost. One should be super thoughtful while placing the order, because audi won't give any feature for free. :D
Just ordered a brand new Audi A3 S line 35 TFSI Tronic in Daytona Grey with I think the same alloys and the sound and comfort pack. 17-22 week wait for it.
I know the A4 has more horsepower than the A3! So the A4 would be bigger and faster. But overall I think it depends on the style you’re going for. The A3 S-line has a more sporty feel.
@@JoshTryhaneTech right because I wanted to compare more bang for your buck, if the s line a3 is more fun to drive than an a4, then I think I found my next car haha
I’m looking at a5 and A7. Have a 2016 a3. But that interior is so beautiful I may have to just upgrade to this model. Def gotta go take a test drive. Have to.
Hey Josh, do you know what's the package of this car? I've noticed that only the prestige have the ambient interior light and within the B&O speaker. However, you've mentioned that this don't have B&O right? Why it have ambient light? I really want Ambient light but presitage is too expensive.
