To me the single most important upgrade to an AR-15 is a cmmg Bravo 22LR conversion kit in your pack. For a weight of about 1 lb, you have the ability to handle anything from squirrels all the way up to black bears with heavyweight 556 rounds. And if you are on the suppressor bandwagon, the cmmg kit allows you to be truly Hollywood quiet. I have done a couple reviews on the cmmg, they are absolutely worth their weight in gold. Great video Josh. 👍

I never really thought about that. It's actually a really good idea.

You can also use your thumb to force the dust cover to stay closed with a cmmg kit, which makes it locked breach and as close to absolutely dead silent as you can get

Here's a tip guys, Aguilas 60 grain sniper subsonic will stabilize in your 1:9 or tighter AR barrel and it is incredibly quiet suppressed.

To each their own. If you’re hunting small game grab a squirrel gun if you’re defending grab an AR. Murphy says you will have the wrong device and ammo at a bad time. For the cost of adapter and magazines, I’d rather have a different gun, like a 10/22.

Nylon 66, man my grandad gave his to my dad now my brother has it. I also learned to shoot on that thing. It will always be the best rifle.

Hey Josh, like the video one project of mine I’m working on is a 14.5 pin and welded 10/22 with the B-Team folding stock

Awesome choice for many things. Including survival and also for tuning up your shooting skills at a fraction of the cost of big game loads.

Did a video on my little Rascal as a survival weapon. Also carry my heritage rough rider 22lr and 22 mag trapping. Really want to get ahold of a ruger 10/22. Probably next one I get

Totally agree with you! I learned to shoot on a single shot breach loading .22 that looked like it was 100 years old. Don't remember what kind it was, but it sure was fun to shoot. This was in the late 70's when we were 12. 🥃🍻🪂🫡🇺🇸

Couldn't tell you the amount of animals I've taken that were attacking my chickens with my Remington 190. I live in a subdivision so noise is always a concern, so I use CCI subsonics and have never had cops called on me

No idea why anyone in there right mind would depend on a 22lr to defend their life. 22lr is great for kids to learn a weapon system to clear misfires, ect. 22lr has a ZERO role in self defence
