I agree this is one of his best games! But I appreicate the art of the boulder, doesn't look bad to me and if anything makes it special and non-generic (unlike the city background)

The trijam is one of the most stress free friendly jams ive seen, they're pretty chill about stuff and is one of the few that doesnt keep me up at night working on stuff

Very good entry, with much more polish than I have seen on 3 hour JAM. I also did the TRIJAM for my second game and got 3rd place overall! Trijam has a very nice and relaxed format (except the 3 hours You are making the game - those are not relaxing at all) I would suggest everyone to try it.

A good trick when fighting color-blindness accessibility on a time limit is working with values. So you aren't forcing someone to rely solely on hues to determine which matches which

Spacetime is a tricky theme but I think you smashed it! I love the cute style of the game but the giant boulder would be terrifying.

Great idea for a game, space time is a tough theme!! Also I've tried Game maker studio prior to Construct 3 I found it more beginner friendly than Unity.

You could have put some angle brackets in the portals to better indicate where they go (< or > for the top 2, > for the bottom 2).

The only thing thing that’s missing from “Dimension Hop” is life pick ups and a bar to show how many lives you still have.Also a timer to show you how much time you have been going for but it isn’t that useful.

Used both GameMaker 2 and Construct 3. Both have their pros and cons. I love the idea that the folks at Game Maker would pay a C3 user to promote their engine. It just reinforces that the engine you use doesn't really matter. The one thing I can't stand is tribalism when it comes to game engines - it is so pointless.
