The Previous owner was a friend of mine, The car got me started on Mk2's. I'm mega glad the guy is actually nice and learnt about the car! I know this car in and out and i'm glad he remembers all the mods! The Turbo is actually an Owen Developments M spec GTX2867R! Made 380hp at stock displacement!

This car is right up my street. I'm currently building a mk2 golf for over 500+bhp with the engine fully capable of around 800+ bhp . Got an emu black standalone ecu so options are there if I decide to go dsg. Great car 👍

Long gears and not enough revs, you can tell it wants to keep going. If they raised the rev limit to 7.5-8k it'd probably still be in boost when you upshift... if they've spent what they say they've spent I'm sure the engine can handle a little extra revs.

MeesterDash mk2 golfs are notorious for that mate and the big bumper bracket needs replaced so it sits flush,they don’t sit that great from factory but his is sagging and needs done,lovely car but 👍

This is a type of car u keep in the family, I understand he's young an just wants the money out of it. But when he's older he'll probably regret selling it. The misses is probably nudging him to sell it. Awesome car,well worth asking price.

I used to have an aqua green mk2 big bumper H141SKU . had to do the big ends and head gasket twice but still loved it .. 🤙😎

The old TT Bam engines cars (same as the old S3) needed driving hard to get the best out them anyway Great engine 👍🏻

- Connah - well that’s the engine they used in the early Mk1 TT he says it came from? There’s a few other engine codes from later cars for the same engine BAM was the best version though so if it ain’t one he’s been robbed 😂

Bam is better stock engine but you'll be wanting the larger ports from the AGU when you want real power. ;)

It’s a nice car but defo not £14-15k worth... I’ve seen plenty in the past with similar or better spec go for well under £10k.... an absolute concourse original one goes for roughly £7-9k max Original concourse g60/rallye models barely fetch what he wants.

Couldn't of happened to a nicer fella , lovely car but for me would need a 4mo conversion with that sort of power . I had a jazz blue MK2 GTI 16v (H49 ELK) as my 2nd car when I was 18. Was an amazing driver , drove like it was on rails but was a massive money pit and I was young so moved it on.

Brakes are off a mk1 Leon Cupra R not Ibiza. The Ibiza’s came with AP racing 4pots. Love a nice mk2 golf!

lovely golf, for me tho a bog standard 16v is fast enough if a mk2, obviously with a few tweeks, u can do so much with a 16v lump to get it quicker, my old 1 was 0-60 in 7 secs with just k,n filter and a chip , loved it 120mph in 3rd no problem haha, but respect to all mk2 owners for keeping them on the road, but have to say the best thing about a mk2 was their engines
