INFJ Life Coach Lesson: Get ready to dive into the five quirkiest habits of INFJs that we thought were totally normal. But here's the catch: once we start mingling with other folks, we quickly realize that what's perfectly natural to us might be a little out there for them. It's like a light bulb moment that happens sometime in our early teens, or maybe even earlier, where we realize we're just a tad different. And if you're watching this as an adult, you probably get it. So yeah, I'm different. But you know what? I've embraced it. Now it's up to us to figure out which of our strange habits we're willing to share with the world. So let's get cracking, shall we?

Once my boundaries are crossed enough and I haven’t voiced my discomfort for a while, I usually kill any positive vibes in a small outburst and it scares people cause they didn’t really know what they were doing wrong.

I always go too deep, too quickly when communicating. Some people only function on a superficial level and find it strange when I try to communicate ideas. I have one son who is also INFJ; we can have amazingly deep, long discussions on many topics(he’s a teacher). Wish I could find an INFJ partner.🧞‍♂️Help me out, Genie!

My x-wife once told me that I "should be studied" because of how I think. She tried to convince me to be medicated. I would tell her, "How are you going to get me to take them? Are you going to shove them down my throat?!" She told me many times I was like nobody she ever met before, always puzzled about my thinking. I have been divorced before I ever heard of this MBTI. I've felt different from everyone my whole life, I just wish I had a special girlfriend who understands me without thinking I'm crazy. (I'M NOT CRAZY, TRUST ME). I live alone now, and I feel like I would like to have someone. But I also want to keep my solitude. It like the old saying 'a Rock in a hard place'.

I spent an hour massaging and stretching a housekeeping lady where I work after I clocked out. She was in a lot of pain and as a therapist I offered to help her out. She told me things... you guys know how it is. I listened and I cared. The next day she said thank you again and that her back felt great!! A few days ago I was outside and she was sitting there looking very sad. I asked "how is your heart?" And she said "angry." I must have given the INFJ look, I don't know, it was like I really saw her. She said "and I don't owe you an explanation." (I hadn't asked). I just nodded and watched the leaves flying around in the air and trees. I looked at the ground, and realized I felt a little wounded. Later in the day she smiled and waved at me, and of course I genuinely reciprocated. I don't understand and yet all too fully understand others. What a conundrum to be an INFJ.

As a Social Worker and Clinical Therapist-recognize your situation and let me if know if I am wrong! I call this the bartender syndrome-people will tell us their deepest darkest most vulnerable secrets & leave our company feeling purged! We may see them again in a few days and we might get the brush us off, or perhaps one tries to ignore us or seems-upset and even embarrassed! This is bc this person knows that you see them as one really is and perhaps shame, embarrassment or even feeling shocked that one would impart such personal knowledge to us that a little fear or distrust may be in the works! The most important aspect is even if our feelings may be a bit hurt we really have provided a good service by just listening bc that shows we really care! Little do people realize that INFJs sometimes even to their own detriment are among the people least like to ever judge another- Race- Gender-Ethnicity-Political Leanings-Socio-economic concerns mean little to us other than adding to our knowledge and our need to constantly learn! Simply try to treat the individual the same as you always have just knowing you did help but also this person reciprocated by trusting you and by adding to your own repertoire of understanding which is a powerful gift! May Creator continue to Bless, Guide, Sustain and Protect this channel and all subscribers, particularly the INFJs whom the world needs more than ever Mita Kolas! ✌🏾👵🏽🦅☀️🦅☀️🦅🩵

Even though we INFJs are different, at least I myself am extremely happy to be one of them. It's insanely liberating to be and live when you're not dependent on others and their opinions, there's no need to compete, there's no envy, you know you can survive in any situation (or if not), you're not afraid, etc. Similarly, a rich inner life gives enormous satisfaction. It is particularly useful for me, as chronic painful diseases limit my movement outside the home. The flip side is that you notice and know how much is wrong, bad and harmful in the world and in people, and how few even care to try to do anything about them, and on the other hand, few even understand enough. On the other hand, because I know that they really can't do better and simply can't understand things, it's easier for me to let it be. Then let them mess things up and destroy even our entire planet if and when they don't even bother trying to think and listen to what others have to say. The most ignorant always think they know the most, and that's the biggest problem in the world. But as said, so be it and I'll get the popcorn, because I'm not one to panic when things start to go really, really wrong (e.g. some wider conflict or war, worsening weather conditions, collapsing economies, impoverished nations and the rich minority rule, etc.).

I did indeed know I was different when I was young. But around my 25th year, I began to change, and it wasn't until after my 30th that I started caring less. Before that, I was always in 'people-pleasing' mode, at the expense of my self-esteem, even though I wasn't doing anything wrong; I simply thought differently than others. I didn't even harm them, but they always felt challenged in their perspective.

This might help: In 2001, I had a great New Year's resolution. I'd spent too long waiting for people to do stuff so I could lamely say, "Can I come along?" I was tired of this. So in 2001 I said to myself that I'd do one brand new thing that I'd never done before. - I went snowboarding. - I donated blood. - I ran a marathon. - I learned to ride a motorbike. - I learned to surf. - I went to Uni. And I still maintain the motto of 'Screw it, just do it.' This helped me start skating, playing guitar/piano, boxing. Get off your arse and just do the thing.

The idea of living at your own pace is something that I latched on to very quickly and yes, it really did puzzle a lot of people. My pace is always been to start out slowly and pick up speed is time goes on, and whether I moved slowly or later on fast, it seemed to never be at the same speed that everyone else was doing. I used to feel apologetic about it, but I learned better as time went by. For me, the most effective way I could handle it was to say in essence, "You're right; my timing is different, but I have to use what I was given to work with." In my experience, most of the time a person would tell me l was doing something "weird," it simply meant that (1) he or she wouldn't do it or (2) I wasn't doing it his or her way.

I love this! I am getting better at making my dreams come true via action. What I have discovered is, as much as I enjoy living vicariously through other artists, musicians etc. I can project that combined with my own imagination to achieve my own desires. This is why I am so attracted to Magick and tarot. I taught a class last week and it was amazing. People took notes and paid attention. I was in my element. I turned on the cosmic juice full blast. It didn't make anyone upset. Infact it drew people closer. They looked fully engaged. I was the one they lived through. What a high!

Thank you Wenzes for continuing to help us INFJ's get out of our imagination and into reality. It really is a two edged sword. We can get so much more out of imagination than most people can but at the same time it keeps us from actually doing some things that would actually nourish us and feed our imaginations to take us further. I find these kind of videos very inspiring!

You always have some very good points to make in all your videos! And then there are these videos, and all I can do is smile bc everything you say is so on point, there is absolutely nothing I can add. I worked for 16 years in an alcohol and drug abuse mental health hospital. I was basically an "ear" for patients along with assigning and helping do homework and autobiographies. Thank you Wenzes for helping me make some hard decisions today. I’m in a crossroad of whether to reconnect with someone whom I shared a traumatic decision with and recognised that all I want is to understand their motivation and mindset. They say this but they don’t do that. I’m seeing myself to be going back for more hurt just for the want of wanting to get answers. After listening to this I am more inclined to give me in to my doubts. That I should just step back and get myself out of this situation and express myself more. So I’m going to tell them honestly why I don’t want to reconnect at the time and at how to my want it. I need to thread lightly for myself to Protect my poor heart.

I do realize more about myself as well as relationships. Yes, I can confirm that, in my view, it is better I work on my own, the others work on their parts, and have respect and fair mind, etc. I do have in mind that my career related to something helping others and nature. It is also true that when we strike, in the situation we have no better choice, and in psychological way. Its kind of tired to live in such way. But there is something enjoyable with this personality.

Another thing to comment about ~15.00 into the feed. There are souls who try to be inscrutable and lure you into trying to work them out. It is one of their predatory bait snare trap games. So sometimes, when you cannot get a read on the situation, recognize the situation is not safe and pull back. Yes, there are some interesting baits, and they are being dangled in enticing ways. But there are souls fishing for the vulnerable that they can manipulate and catch. If you are normally really good at reading a space, and come across a space that is more inscrutable than normal, assume there is someone trying to hook you into an unhealthy diet/bait choice, and pull back.

Wonderfull video, Wenzes! Regarding how we INFJ’s control our own internal pace, I have always been aware of this, confused by it wondering if I am part mechanical, lol, and I even sense that I occasionally go into a turbo or over-drive mode. Through maturity & experience, I’ve learned to go into that mode cautiously. As a physical trainer & health consultant, I feel that my different modes of pace might actually give my clients an energetic boost to help them break-thru and change.

Advanced pattern recognition is a attributable to the whole human species; if we weren't predicated on this we've have died out along time ago, it's intrinsic to our evolutionary history. The cognitive INFJ is logically albeit not emotionally predictive; again please acquaint yourself with Jung's work. Fe is about a sensitivity to social nuance in the divergent position an INFJ does not violate social protocols. I'm not sure where you're getting your knowledge from as it's clearly not empirically based or from Jungian literature. ISFPs & ESFPs as I've mentioned b4 can live vicariously through others if their Se-Te isn't adequately brought into conscious recognition. Addicted to imagination: that's a limbic process you're describing eg Ni-Fi divergence, not Ni-Ti. I've noticed you're borrowing a lot of my phrasing 'vicarious' 'cerebral' etc - your monologue isn't cerebral it's limbic and I don't mean that in a derogatory way, it's just clearly affective & not objective in nature. ESFPs are 'persistent in their pace' owing to Se-Te convergence; they utilised skills sets as a manifestation of their being/extension thereof. Everyone is preoccupied with understanding the motives of others it's a basic survival instinct this isn't intrinsic to any one cognitive type. 'This person said this, this person said that' that's sequential thinking predicated on limbic waters - that's Si-Fi not Ni-Ti. An INFJ epic life is certainly not something a cognitive INFJ would employ respectfully it sounds like some kind of Fi authority manifesto.
