Yoooo this came up in my newsfeed and saw you guys were outta Lafayette! Knew them backroads yall were on looked familiar! 😂Dope build n glad the Boot representing! 💯💯💯🤙🏾
Its a good way to enjoy the car and not have to worry about paint getting scratches or interior getting messed up. My favorite stage of the rebuild. Fun. Test drives make those long night put in work worth it.
Got an '86 MCSS T-top ready for a swap...hell I bought the car in y'all backyard (Breaux Bridge). Wish I'd known about you guys before I took it home!!
I needed something to make me smile and pull me out of my morning and this absolutely did it for me great post amazing amazing setup I am absolutely in love though very f****** nice 💪🏾💯
I put together my 1988 T-top SS with a carborated four barrel holler 570 dual feed single pump just a mild 350 small block the kicker is in the 80's and 90's I was a firm believer in the turbo 400 tyranny but this time what I was looking for the enjoyment of traveling with this car so I opted for the 700r4 overdrive trans my buddy made the fourth gear into a fourth gear I truly like this alot considering I don't think I have mu h more horse power than maybe 300 hp my monte sounds really good and she hauls ass down the highway another thing I did under the hood was a serpentine setup of the early 90's throttle body truck Era I had to change my water pump and fan blade to reversible but the engine runs 185 to 190 alday long the suspension is another area I up graded umi slap bars front and rear plus rear upper lower track bars with better shocks now my tires I went 235/60r/16" all the war around but I need to change the front tires to 225/60r/16" they rub because I used 16" iroch wheels. Having issues trying to get my door windows adjusted.i really like your monte with that 6 lt badass u guys keep making these videos 👍
Awesome build love the car got three mcss’s myself. With all that torque and horsepower are you concerned about the T top car? Can’t wait to see it when it’s done. Good luck.
God I’d love to LS my Monte so bad. That is so sweet. Where are y’all located? The 337 makes me think you’re in Louisiana. And serious props to how clean the setup is.
Do you know if the ls1 that was supposedly made first in 1997 will fit in my 1997 chevy suburban with a 5.7 vortec with no modification maby other than wiring
I would love to see someone do a supercharged LT4 in one of these . not hard to do when people keep wrecking these ZL1 Camaro's That car would rip all day on a nice set of wide tires..I have had 3 Montes and I have always said they do great with power. I had an 84 SS with a DZ302 out of a 69 Camaro with built trans...it would chirp them in all 3 gears if i was getting into it...and i had an 86 SS with a 70-71 454. I couldnt keep tires on that car and where the trunk met the back of the C pillar on both sides that car had flex marks from the body twisting every i would get into it...car was reliable as hell...the only thing that would have made that better was one of the new EFI systems
My mom had a 1988 Camaro in 1999 with a dz302 from a 69 Camaro car was beautiful cragers wide back tires 6,000$ paint job car was nasty it got stolen from my uncles shop parking lot cops found it on the reserve striped and burnt was a sad sad time for my mom it broke her
@@streetbikewhisperer9184 man thats awful its a shame when people do that kinda thing as they dont appreciate what kinda work goes into something like that
