Scarlet and violet has just become "did I miss a shiny? Oh cool a shiny! Aww, I only got 4 shinies in one sandwich... welp... time to reset so I can get 6 shinies in 30 minutes."
@@RamshacklePrefect896They do not. In fact, most people just enjoy a casual, vanilla playthrough the first time around, and save most of this for the postgame. That you only do casual playthroughs after casual playthroughs is your deal.
people stop using "bad" to describe subtle shinies they personally dislike challenge 2023 (difficulty: I am going to beat you to death if you say Garchomp's "isn't different") (it's not my fault I'm apparently the only person in the entire world who can actually see colors properly)
Definitely the one closely examining every tatsugiri looking for shinies. I accidentally avoided an all-white tatsugiri because I assumed it was just another color variation, and I will *_NOT_* be making that same mistake again.
101% nerd neck, I’m always just paranoid to miss another shiny (I saw a shiny qorvisquire early game but a rookidee ran in front of me letting it despawn, it was day one of game realise so I didn’t know it was a good choice to turn auto save off)
I’ve spent so much of my time shiny hunting I see them the second they spawn. I can tell with Pokémon like garchomp and gengar too. Shiny corvisquire is so cool it’s a shame you lost it
I’ve been hunting for a shiny Tatsugiri for a week now and instead I’ve found a shiny Dratini, Marill, Flamigo, and a Chewtle. And I’ve hatched a shiny Frigibax but still no Tatsugiri :(
Sad story- just a day ago I was playing Pokémon scarlet on my alt account and I was trying to level by battling some trainers then as soon as I activated a battle with a trainer in the distance I saw a shiny skiddo and panicked then ran away from the battle which put me back at a Pokémon center far from the shiny despawning it I was very upset :(
The speedrunner lol - I only got my shiny Lurantis because shiny Fomantis blended in so well with the grass I didn't see her and ran into her while zooming on Miraidon XD
The type to get distracted by literally everything and still wind up with shinies. Just yesterday i was doing bbqs and was about to take a picture. Pulled up the camera and got jumpscared by an alolan graveler
I still can't believe I've found two full odd shiny oranguru, one of them followed by a full odds lokix not even two minutes apart. These games are nutty with shinys.
I made a different team to tackle each story arc and took my time throughout the game. I actually managed to catch a shiny Mareep around the time I took on Katy, while just playing casually.
I’m the one that just runs around catching every possible Pokémon I’ll see if I already have it. I don’t catch it but if I already have it and it’s a shiny, I immediately touch it.
I’m the fall off a cliff during the first area zero exploration, and get respawned next to a shiny Espeon for my first ever shiny during initial play through
The type that enjoys building bonds with their Pokemon, eating food, and enjoying battling my rivals. But if I’ve already beat the game more than once, then I’ll try to speedrun just for fun.
I'm the one who waits until the last fight at the end of the game to buff the shit out of my final team of pokemon that just look good (literally my team is Garchomp, Meowscarada, Gyrados, Salazzle, Noivern, and Luxray)
I've never found a shiny pokemon in regular gameplay, except when I looked at my roommates game, told him to turn around, and saw a straight up shiny altaria. I was so mad
I'm the kind that looks at the new Pokemon beforehand and plays through the game with that team, then never touches the game again after beating the challenges and catching the legendaries
Which is the one that can never find shinies when you're looking for them, even with a sandwich, but then you find like, 5 when you're not even looking?
I'm the one manually checking every spawn for shiny because I don't know what all the new shinies look like yet and didn't want to be spoiled on them. Although the ones I do know of I have been actively avoiding spawns of their species because if I know what the shiny looks like I won't be satisfied just catching a high IV one.
One you start thinking about evs, there is no going back. You either fully train ev your pokemon or you just throw it away. And let's not start with having a Pokemon with evs spread wrong.
I’m the one who doesn’t buy the game within release year but a year or two later until which i watch everyone forget about it and get hyped for the new games
