I know they aren't "beginner" ouds but I think Aaron Terence Hughes' oud fragrances are so wearable that they'd definitely be considered as beginner ones for me! I don't really notice the oud as it's just so balsamic and sweet. Lovely. I have tried Daddy, Luna, Onyx, Onyx Extreme, Oud, Tabac (got oud in it too), Forbidden and Oxytocin from his oud lineup 🙂
ur credibility vanished the second u mentioned that this bloke is a perfumer i mean he says he is but thats a lie Aaron Terrence Hughes is a big crook faked his whole life & body ( Britains most vainest men) this dude spend 50k for beauty surgery on his body i mean look at him .. i also love that Fragrance du Bois sued him cause he said that one scent he got from them doesn’t contain Oud , they forced him to take the original bid down to upload a vid where he reads a letter and apologized cause it does contain Oud.. ur perfumer is unable to detect Oud in a scent and btw his scents r a joke , the ingredients are so cheap …
He explained it on Chris channel recently. He likes to mix that animalic side of fragrance with other sweet likeable side. He said it gets the most attention.
Great video Ash! I have a few of these and agree (Varvatos, Bottled Oud). I own quite a few shave soaps and matching EDP’s with oud notes as well that are awesome. 👍
Without any question Ash actualy is the most incredible viewer of fragrances in youtube with his atitudes of making the choices of any fragrance looks easy for anybody !
Hey ! I have Oud for Glory ,i bought it last month and i must be honest... it is trash .. i have 30 + in my colecttion and i am not a snoob but this perfume is very week in performance and materials.. i dont have the original or the other clone from Afnan !
I've owned Oud for Greatness, Lattafa Oud for Glory, Afnan Supremacy in Oud, and Paris Corner Ministry of Oud Greatest Oud. I prefer the Lattafa...Price/Packaging/Potency/Compliments the Lattafa drop for drop blows the others away. In my personal experiences with them
I'm surprised by the comment of Supremacy Oud being the best Oud for Greatness clone... I have Lattafa's Oud for Glory and it smells GREAT to me! I will have to check out the Supremacy vs. Lattafa review Ash has done, but it sounds like you can't go wrong with either. Hack, buy both (shouldn't be no more than $90 - $100 total, possibly less) the total would be a 1/4 to 1/3 of the price Oud for Greatness.
M7, Soul, Gucci Intense Oud, Guerlain's Santal Royale, Bvlgari's Man in Black Orient, Oud Kalemat, Sahara Noir and Halston Man Amber are in my opinion other stunning designer Ouds.
Gucci Intense Oud, which smells somewhat similar to Black Afgano. And for much less money, Proraso's Wood & Spice Cologne, which also smells like Gucci Intense Oud and Black Afgano, but being a cologne does not last as much. So if somewhat scared about oud, that is one safe and harmless way to check it out.
My fav oud is Ormonde Jayne - Elixir. 1% concentration of cambodian oud. Mixed with black spruce, grass, coriander and cardamom. What else do u want from a fragrance?
I have these and like them all. My favorite of them is Raghba Wood Intense.. Boss Bottled Oud is a close runner up, followed by Versace's Our Noir! BTW, for the uninitiated, cool to cold weather only! These are all exceptional designer "ouds"--great choices, G.O.A.T.! 🐐

Avoided oud until i came across D&G mysterious night for £60 what a bargain. My 13 year old wanted his own bottle and my mate got me to get him a bottle aftet first whiff lol
Only oud fragrance I've experienced is Oud Wood (TF). Absolutely phenomenal. Slightly animalic off my skin but phenomenal. Never thought I'd like a cologne that reminds me of decaying carcasses lol

Is it true that a lot of these fragrances with oud on the bottle don’t have oud in them since oud is so expensive or maybe there is oud but but there would only be like the smallest drop if any just a question
I'm not a fan of oud as it gives off middle eastern grandpa vibe, but I've recently smelled Acqua di Parma Oud EDP and has been blown away by how well the citrus blends with the oud. If it wasn't for the pricetag and the fact that I wanna declutter my collection I would've gotten it for sure.
You called the Raghba bottle trash but i disagree, it's the exact same bottle that the niche house Frapin use. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, but yeah i don't think it looks bad at all 🤷♂️

Gucci intense oud and stronger with you oud have been my latest go too, love oud wood, but the other two are "cheaper" so im saving tom ford for special occasions. Love all 3 though 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Wow, looks like all fragrance reviewer RU-vidrs are in sync at not even mentioning Chopard. If you are looking for a smooth smelling oud without any harshness that lasts for days, you have to check out Oud Malaki by Chopard. Off of these seven in this video, it's far better in terms of quality and longevity by a landscape.
@@Tecfield Possibly. Like you said, Chopard isn’t on a lot of people’s radar and they absolutely get lost in the shuffle of other bigger brands. To be fair I don’t think Chopard paid Curly, but they sent her a few bottles. Sometimes it takes a little compensation to encourage people to talk about something.
Save your money and purchase some authentic oud oil if you can get your hands in it. I warn you it is expensive but the money is well worth it in my opinion, been wearing it since the 90's.
Gucci intense oud is nice i brought it a few weeks ago i happened to see it on a website for £90 which was a bit less than I'd seen it before so i brought it
Never heard anyone describe oud as poo, oud scents are one of the most oldest scents in history and very unique in how they smell, if you ain't scared of being loud and prominent. If your not confident and can't handle the sexyness, stay away from oud 🤣
Oud wood just smelled horrendous to me. I will try more but i found it pretty repulsive. If i ever get one i'll grab the Maison Alhambra Woody Oud just cause i can't stomach the Tom Ford price for something i don't like and maybe a clone might be an easier hit to the wallet when i'm starting out. but generally, if there's oud, i absolutely won't wear it.
