I have the Bellroy Dopp Kit and can recommend it. The Bellroy Products have become a favourite of mine amd I also own several Bellroy Wallets, a Key Cover/Holder and a Classic Pouch. 😎👍🏼
I’m not sure why anyone would pay $200 for a Dopp kit. Hoping to find some reviews of some more economical versions. Review of the ones presented was solid.
I‘m a sucker for brands like Aer, Alpaka etc and I think that visually, these kits look pretty clean and cool, but non of these are as practical to use as a toiletry kit as my random Samsonite hanging toiletry kit which was probably also cheaper than all of the kits shown in this video…
I wish your video would have featured something like the Aer Travel Kit v1/v2 . A lot of these are all similarly shaped and I think it would be helpful to showcase that there are other great dopp kits that may be shaped differently than traditional silhouettes.
I just bought the Peak Design bag for a 3 week trip to Florida and ended up not using it because it was way, WAY too small… and I did purchase the larger of the two sizes they offer. Because of how small it was, I ended up using a 17 year old Tumi dopp bag that’s roughly 2.8L or 2.9L, I think. Crazy how about one-third of a liter makes such a huge difference. I think for normal trips, like 2-5 days, I can make the 2.5L Peak Design work. Hopefully it lasts as long as the Tumi bag. The main thing I don’t like about the PD is that the toothbrush compartment is too small for a toothbrush inside a toothbrush holder. I don’t know how I feel about the toothbrush not being covered. For now I just use the toothbrush compartment for my beard comb. Not a huge problem, but it definitely makes me wish that PD would make a bag that’s about an inch longer (to accommodate toothbrush holders) and maybe even an inch deeper (to accommodate slightly taller bottles for shampoo or body wash). Overall, I still highly recommend the PD brand Dopp kit for its durability, design, and eco friendly qualities. Sounds crazy that I can’t make 2.5L work.. I don’t pack heavy when I travel. Here’s what I packed (and wouldn’t fit in the PD): Deodorant 2oz beard oil 2oz cleansing oil Beard comb Beard brush (travel size) Beard trimmer with 2 guards Toothpaste Toothbrush 7oz soap bar 2oz bottle of cologne 2.5oz bottle of moisturizer nail clippers/file Normally, I would not travel with the beard trimmer or nail clippers but, like I said, it was for 3 weeks. Still though, all of this fit EASILY into the Tumi bag with a little room to spare (maybe a second, smaller cologne bottle)
@@jessicaho19yeah I was also a little shocked and slightly disappointed. if I was traveling for less than 7 or 8 days, I think it would be perfect. For that duration, I would not “need” the beard trimmer or nail grooming kit, and I could always find cologne in bottles half the size of what I used… plus, I had a hefty brick of soap and I could cut it in half for future trips. I very seldom travel any longer than 4 or 5 days, so I definitely think this PD bag will be perfect for regular travel going forward
I travel months on end and think the Peak Design regular size is way too big for my needs lol. Fits everything easily including electric razer and toothbrush, etc
Don't get why people keep buying Aesop products... Literally just for the fancy packaging. It's all an amalgam of b/s ingredients packaged in fancy packaging.
